i checked out RJays helmets on bachoo motors website..the price for tour tech helmet is RS 8799..but when i went through helmets section, i found out that , RJays helmets are availabe at 4000.. is it true?? if it is available at that price point..i will definately buy that one..please guide me ..in last 2 days i almost went through helmets section...read almost all the pages..yes..all 800 something..

I am still on the lookout for SOL 48S YF Red white... Auto Queen does not have stock, they have YF yellow-white and YF blue-white.
Has someone in Chennai seen the YF red-white in Chennai stores? Planning to ask one of my friends in Chennai to buy it for me if its available. I am looking for XL size.
Saw the Metalman series at Auto queen but was not keen on the skeleton kind design. I seriously believe the YF red white is the correct match for my R15 V1 LE

Even I use spectacles, I have used Studds, LS2 and SOL and it didnt get in way of the built in goggles as well.

All over internet it says INR 3.4k +
Please let me know where in Bangalore , I can get them in 2.5k range.

I bought mine 1.5 years back @ Megha Enterprises Lalbagh Road. But make sure they are DOT certified.

hey guys...i m planning for a new helmet..my budget is 4000...please suggest me a helmet..i went through ls2 website..and i m now more confused than ever...so many helmets to choose from..then i saw SOL helmets..and i'm in love with metal man...are there any other options i should look at?? please help...

i might do that...stretch my limit..but i would like to mention that i use spectacle all d time..24 hours..so will i be having any problem using these helmets?? i mean will i be able to fit it inside helmet easily??

First off, yes in and under 4k you have lots of helmets. But then choosing the one you want, comfort wise, fit wise and look wise is where the decision gets held up. If you really wanna go for SOL go for it, excellent VFM helmet. Tons of people have used the helmet and have posted their reviews, for that price it's a excellent helmet. If you can throw in a few hundreds more you can get yourself a SOL, Metal Man. I personally love only one model in SOL and that is the ODYSSEY WHITE BLUE, SL-68S.

Regarding wearing a helmet with specs on, I wear it all the time with my helmet and I don't find any discomfort whatsoever, indeed I personally feel it's very cool, makes you look matured...err or just for me I guess.

That said, there won't be any hassles or troubles wearing a spectacle along with a helmet, you can go ahead and wear it without any problems at all. You might find it a little fogging up when you wear it in rains with the visor closed, but that's not always, say, only when it rains or foggy.

Yes, RJays do have their APEX helmets in 4.2k range. Try calling them if you have any doubts, their customers service is excellent, but I am afraid they have any stocks left. I guess the helmets have been sold out. Do call them and ask for whatever queries you may have. RJays is VFM stuff.

there yo go...if it is no problem...because i have been using my last helmet from past 8 years mayb...and the padding has become very loose due to ageing..so i had no problen wid spectacles whatsoever...but new helmets like ls2 and SOL have thick padding at both sides..that's what worried me...but now i m relaxed..thanks anyway

Hi Guys,
I have been planning to buy helmet and have narrowed down on SOL( My budget is upto 6-7k). However, SOL helmets are not available in Pune.
I had enquired to with SOL support team about shipping helmet. They are ready to ship and are quoting price of Rupess800 for shipping. So, net cost goes to like 5.7k for helmet. After I showed them my discontent with steep shipping rate, they are ready to ship with courier service of my choice.
Now I am in dilemma. Should I get SOL helmet shipped or buy other helmet locally.

Suggest me any good helmet that will not cross 7k price range.
How is NUVO helmet(Have heard lots of praises of NUVO)?

Edit:
After seeing SHARP rating for NUVO helmet, I am inclined towards NUVO. NUVO is available with PlanetDSG in Pune, so I will be able to try it for proper fit.
Any other suggestions?

SOL helmet issue

I have a SOL SL68 S II metalman. The plastic structure holding the air intake/outtake vents seems to be a bit flimsy and of not so good quality. It hinges on a screw at the rear. The structure is not fully secured now.IT has slightly come out it seems. The part near the screw has a slight crack it seems and hence it's not properly held now.
I have only dropped the helmet once and that was the 2nd day after I bought it and it escaped with just a hint of a scratch.
Collisions with the pillion helmet a few times almost negligible.
That's it. Feel a bit let down here. It comes with an year's warranty. I'll talk with AH helmets about it

I saw the Studds Scorpion today.. Looks very good in fact awesome I would say. I think the red white one will go with my bike (Red and white CBR 150).
Anyone having the same ? How good is it ? I mean at 1650INR it looks pretty good deal. Does it come with removable inner lining ?
