Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Thanks Sid, actually its such that one of my freind told me , during a fall the visor can break into you and hurt your face. So I was thinking a double visor would be safer.

        Hello every one
My name is Mohamed Rashid T and i`m a Sixth semester B.com student under University of Calicut,According to our curriculum, we are supposed to perform a project work in our final semester, which includes a survey and can be done on any topic.I am thinking to perform one relating traffic rules with special reference to wearing of helmets by motor bike riders,My primary and secondary objectives are not decided yet.

i`ll need about 50-100 respondents,if you are ready to participate, please send me a pm, along with your suggestions i shall be very thankful for your help and support and i shall acknowledge the same in my report.

It's a good initiative first of, most would gladly help. But make sure your post survey link just once and let interested members fill in the survey, in that way it's easy, effective and nuisance free. If you happen to ask everybody to PM, most of them won't be able to fill in your form.

Just post one link and forget about it, rest is upto members hands.

P.S. If you don't get the results you intend to even after posting, kindly please do not repeat the same thing asking for members to fill in your survey, just for the sake of thread integrity. Thanks

            Cheers!

I cannot comment about the visors from low- end Indian helmets but the ones that are used on most imported helmets are made of polycarbonate which is unbreakable. The ratchet systems of certified helmets are designed to snap or pop off in case of an impact.

Double visors just have an internal visor which covers your eyes acting as sunglasses. So if you want o go for dual visor, you can get Daijya(Rs. 4750), Nuvo(Rs.6000) or SOL(Rs4000). These are the full face helmets with dual visor.

I think basically the shells are the same in SOL series, it's just a little features here and there that makes the difference. But if you're looking for SOL, my favorite would be the SOL68S Dragon, kick ass helmet.

Love for matt colour is ok but if u buy a helmet with reflective visor its strongly suggested to keep a clear visor for night rides ..B.P roadies is a good shop you will find varried options for helmet there..my LS2(FF 358 celtic blue) came with just a ECE sticker(never tried peeling also :P) but it never seemed fake..
HISTORY IS NOT ABOUT WHO IS RIGHT BUT ABOUT WHO WRITES IT.......

An ECE sticker is a safety standard which makes sure the helmet you buy is of international standards, unlike local egg shells (literally, don't start off a war please ) we buy out there. These standards set forth for the safety of us, riders.
