  • Delhi people, seek your assistance. Any suggestions for dealers stocking good quality helmets. Couldnt find a dealer for SOL. However going through the thread came to know about Karol Bagh area, Adventure 18 etc. Any specific shops/dealers to keep in mind?
You can take the ride away from me but you cannot take the rider out of my soul.........

Ride review! Do post without fail the ride review. And since I guess the CEEBEEAAR yours, it's pretty easy to touch triple digits without a sweat and do post us post the triple digit speeds of the helmet.

Completely agree with you. I just wanted to highlight how these guys compromise on customer's safety for money. I know its the same in other business but my post may help a bhpian in not buying a cheaper helmet on suggestion of these shop guy's words and compromise on safety.
      Very true, djay. Very true.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      THE END

I know it's not aimed at me but since I do own the same helmet and am using it for quite some time, I'd like to tell people that the wind noise is too damn much! It's damn irritating use this when there are crosswinds/or when doing good speeds!
The quality is good and the ventilation is even better but....................the wind noise......aaaarghhh!

Yes the wind noise does get a bit unbearable at first, The 400km trip i did back home from Bangalore, i was doing a constant 110-135 everywhere and completed the trip in just over 4 hours(mlore-Blore). The vents on this one work great, my head was dry despite me doing the trip in the afternoon on the ghats and all.

YEs the noise is a factor at triple digits. Its pretty much bearable till 100 and then it gets a whole lot noisier. But i guess i wasnt concentrating on the wind noise there since i could barely here my own bike's exhaust with the lid closed. All and all the cheek padding is great and the shell seems to be tougher than the LS2s ive seen so far.
            Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Are you talking about ordering through the site "solhelmetsindia.com" ? I have sent an enquiry but haven't been contacted yet. Sent an enquiry 3-4 days back. Also, what mode of payment do they take and how long does it take to deliver ?

Oh yes please! Mind you, there is always one hungry soul (me ) for a clear cut "ride review" of any helmet that's posted by fellow buddies here. :P
