Thanks aargee. I am not apprehensive about "Made in China" neither at ease. I wanted to take some advice before making up my decision. I should have done more groundwork as well!

Thank you Sunnyside_up! for all the time you spent in making this post! I did research about various helmets offered these days and spent good money to tank-up my ride to experience numerous helmets at Chennai and B’lore. I rode thrice to B’lore only to check some helmets. All these 25 years I bought nothing I don’t like or that sit idle in shelf.

As you said, it is the MONEY that spent on the helmet made me to post a stupid question. LS2 and cross shielded my HeaD for the last two years during various rides [3k was the maximum money that I paid for a helmet]; the latest crash forced me for another lid. My ride is with RE Service Center waiting for the spares to show-up and in the mean time I am gearing up for my next trip during November.

I for sure smile whenever I see my apple with the sticker on the case that says “designed by Apple, California. Made in China”. I knew most of the products are made in China for good number of reasons, I admire their skills and workmanship especially “to replicate” but for some reason I did skipped my purchase the other day “May be I am not all set to spend 5k on a lid”. Your post helped me to make up my decision and I feel HAPPY to shell that 5k on a lid!

i have previously discussed about gloves and want to buy leather one from planetdsg around 2000rs
can you suggest me the leather gloves model which can be used in all weathers which is water proof and it should not heat up and which is suitable for both city and touring around 2000rs

Daijya is a brand I guess owned by PlanetDSG themselves for the most part. I've searched about it myself and couldn't get any valid production proof. They just mass produce them in China with this name as the other helmets.

Its too heavy and getting visor is a problem for this model. You can get LS2 or Cross from Chopras in 2500-3000 range

even iam looking for a good lid.presently own a vega boolean..lots of wind noise n night vision is pathetic....looking at 2500 to 3000 range.. n its not extendable
pls suggest some good shops in chennai.
