I am looking for a S sized helmet in a cheaper budget.
Basically i own a extra padded Vega Boolean and a KBC VR 1 (S size) and i am looking for a cheaper helmet in S size as the Vega's replacement, the one which has a logo to show the cops its genuine as the KBC lid doesn't have any Snell / Dot logo, but is ECE 22.something certified.

Either ways, i need to know what helmets are available in S size (53~54) somewhere around the range of Vega Boolean or a bit higher will do.

I tried contacting Sol guys, they don't have stock.

the LS2 Crown and LS2 Phobia are available at Auto Queen,cochin for 2.9k
Cross Helmets are available too for this range.

Got my LS2 Celtic for 3k at pioneer center, Chennai. Excellent finish and build quality and the air pump system is just pure awesome..

Got this one last week as my previous LS2 got stolen.
This one was 3.3K from AQ, Cochin.
AGV GP1 replica was there for 3.5K, but looked just too plain.

i just got the LS2 crown(white) for that much.

the LS2 phobia is not presently in stock with them.they do have the cross helmets and LS2 crown (in black and white combos) and LS2 Big One.

But the new AGVs are really impressive. Steal @ 3.5K.

I have browsed through a lot of pages but I am still confused.
I currently own a Vega Boolean but obviously want something better.
How are Daijya helmets? Any idea about the safety of Nuvo? I am looking for good helmets below 6K. Safety and comfort is what I want.
Long rides on a vega leaves a pain in my neck.

I have visited the HELMET PARADISE in Abids, Hyderabad today, I had a budget of 3k and i wanted to buy an LS2..
Saw a LS2 Supra FF358, and the guy quoted 4xxx INR for it. It fits my head perfectly. He said its the only shop in Hyderabad where i could get an LS2. After a bit of bargaining, he said maximum he could reduce was to 3.5k.
I have seen someone in this thread quoting 2.9k for the same lid. Should i shed extra 500 bucks and get that one?
I'm a college student and I have to think twice about every penny I spend. I want a quick reply whether it is worth 3.5k...

the lid is definately worth the price, i got the same lid in a different graphic at 3.6k. only drawback is u will need a clear visor for night.

Sol 48s

Hi

I really liked the 'YF White Red' design of SOL SL48S model (Full Face - SOL Helmet India) . But I am a bit confused on going for it without trying it and finding the correct size. I think at the moment, SOL is available only in Chennai and Bangalore. Currently I am using a Vega Interstellar which I guess is size L. Has any one tried the SL48S?
