How are Daijya helmets? Any idea about the safety of Nuvo? I am looking for good helmets below 6K. Safety and comfort is what I want.
Long rides on a vega leaves a pain in my neck.
pain due to what?? weight?? if yes then Daijya is definitely not for you. If you want light weight helmet, then stretch your budget and go for Airoh Speedfire (7800/-). Lightweight and amazing fit. i have been using it for around two months now. Just loving it

edit:- and btw, i have a 6 months old Daijya is well. which feels and is much heavier than the airoh.

I can vouch for a Nuvo. It feels amazingly light, the ventilation is superb. And I had a crash two days after buying it, the visor got scratched, but nothing on my face and head. Although I have bruises and injuries on my hand, leg etal... But the head was super safe...

Saw a LS2 Supra FF358, and the guy quoted 4xxx INR for it. It fits my head perfectly. He said its the only shop in Hyderabad where i could get an LS2. After a bit of bargaining, he said maximum he could reduce was to 3.5k.
I have seen someone in this thread quoting 2.9k for the same lid. Should i shed extra 500 bucks and get that one?
I'm a college student and I have to think twice about every penny I spend. I want a quick reply whether it is worth 3.5k...

              • Got rid of the impulsive buy of Daijya and got myself a SparX - S-07 Nemesis Grey!

That nobody could convincingly answer my questions on the origins of Daijya made me dump it for SparX!

Perfect fit! DOT and ECE 22.05 certs embossed (not stickered)

Got a dark visor along with it, ear plugs and a set of eyebrow vents! Not to forget a reflective "X" along with another longer sticker (don't know where to stick that though) :P

Its got the double-D ring chin fastener!

There is no secret - it costs INR 8500. Very good quality padding. Removable cheek padding. Checked all vents - found them to be working.

Daijya - i found a we bit heavier than SparX (plus lot of speculations on its origin etc) - Daijya carbon is around INR 12900 (almost 10% of the cost of the bike I am buying)

                    Where are you from?

Delhi, I cannot vouch for any store but you can get the sparx and host of others online on performance racing store online. I would still suggest measure your head using a soft tape and check for the right size for ur head. Sparx shells are one shade smaller than other brands.

The PRS website is acting weird, I can not add anything to the cart :|. I guess I will try out a few shops at karol Bagh and Naraina here in Delhi, and if I still don't find anything, then I will call up PRS.
By the way sir, how do you like yours ? I guess it's the best in the price group of 8k-10k, isn't it ??
