Guys I am new to helmets .. but soon I'l have to buy a new one for me.

Can you guys tell me how's Studss Ninja or Ninja Concept?
I really like the open face(I guess, modular is the word) design of these helmets. Also found Vega Boolean looking nice.

What are the price for those?

I beg you,please don't go for an open face helmet. I too had a Ninja Concept and after an accident I only have half my face left.
Go for a proper one. If you have bought a bike kindly spend some more and get at least a Vega Boolean.

Agree on this . Half face is STRICT NO NO. Man you shud go for full face proper helmet. Spend atleast 1000/-. I think u will get an ISI one.

Yes the Vega Boolean is better than the Ninja both in terms of looks and safety.Plus it's modular.
It costs about around 1700/- but it's money well spent.

Studds Ninja is Open cum full face helmet price is somewhere in region of 800-900 Rs.

Ninja Concept is open face helmet and it costs somewhere around 600-700 Rs.

Open face is more commonly used term.

Vega Boolean is again a open cum full face helmet with an additonal inbuilt shades for using in open face mode. Its priced somwhere around 1750-1850 Rs.

They look cool but dont think safe. Coz the locking system of the Jaw dsnt seems to be convincing enough. And not only Ninja, I mean any other with similar system.
Personal opinion. Ppl may differ. I too own a Ninja btw. But for rare use. I use Yohe for regular use.

No doubt full face helmet on any given day is safer than half face helmet.

And i will suggest you the brand name of your helmet may rhyme with Shoei but still go for a better one.

Went to Chopra Helmet Store in K Bagh last Sunday. He planning to bring good AGV range of helmets. One totally chrome. Also he claims to be auth distributors for Forma Sports.
just fyi...

guys...be careful when picking up indian manufactured AGV's from MPA cos apparently their quality has dropped badly....Check the helmet thoroughly before buying!

Even i was very keen on picking one of these out of this close out sale, but i think Mr. Vijay was so busy selling those to pune guys, that even after continuous telephonic follow up and repeated mails he didnt sent me the photos of helmets.

AGV has launched their entire range of helmet here in india (read it in in the dec issue of BSM), and these are international models which AGV maufacture and sell not the cheap replicas from MPA we get here.
Price range is 8k to 52k.

Right Guys..
I had visited DSG on 26th sep for jacket & helmets.Vijay told me that in a month maze jackets in my size wud be made available as well as the helmets.
Since than called him up several times but no use so finally went to dadar and got Rjays jacket worth 7.5 k( 2 grand gone extra dsg wud have cost around 5.5 k but better product definitely )
now going to pune on 25th to have a look at dajiya helmets.

These are the same (original ?? ) helmets BANDHAV is talking about?? where do you get them in mumbai? I've seen the AGV's being sold @ Grant Road in shops near Premji's but i dont know if they are originals?

^ Yes a lot of retailers keep the original AGV catalogue... I have seen stuff @ Goregaon (forgot the name was it AA Helmets or Helmet House)
