        LS2 new models
        Any idea about prices ?

While going to Andheri, I saw A shop
        "Uni-Tech Helmets
Shop No 1, Rushtamji Chs (Sra), Near Viraj Tower, Western Express Highway, Andheri East, Mumbai - 400093
        +(91)-9820107810 | 26846494"
They had Vega helmets and among them 1 was very much good looking.
He said the price is 2330 and 2100 after discount.
He said the model is Vega Cara, but no such helmet is there on internet. I guess it model number is something else.

        The look was really good.

          • I haven't heard much about Cirus helmets. Anybody with user experience or reviews?
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

            • Cirus same as LS2 or Cross as far as I saw it, practically.

You sure CIRUS is made my HJC. I don't think so, can you post a valid reference please. Perhaps HJC might have model in the name, not a separate wing under their brand called CIRUS. From what I reckon, CIRUS must be a separate manufacturer.

People here have been repeating the same thing again and again, use over looks, but that doesn't mean you have to be tasteless, you have very good helmets in all those budget brands and the MID budget ranges which are even more appealing and at the same time, offer the protection one needs.

It doesn't mean VEGA is crap or pricey means protected, it's just a fine line between the both. It's what you discern between both...

                  Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                  The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                  • I Differ here If you will give me 2k I will buy LS2 Helmet this time, my personal experience is enough & you can trust me with VEGA that it has no great quality... you can bend it with your hand... but if you really want low budget helmet then VEGA is best,

                    • Is tinting a transparent visor with glass tint meant for cars, an option worth considering? Actually I need to get a dark visor for my Airoh Speed fire helmet. My parents suggested to tint it with dark film. Any advice?

NO! And you get my idea as to why i used an all caps NO! It'd be an immature act to use a four wheeler window tint for a visor! Moreover, a tinted visor has many reflective properties which you won't get just by sticking a piece of thin film on your visor. It will hamper your night vision very badly, even worse than a normal tinted visor, if you happen to drive at night, which in itself is not recommended using a tinted one. I would suggest you purchase the visor that comes separately as an add on with different tints.

You can contact Bachoo fellas for more info. Yes, the visors are pretty costly, nothing less under 2k, plus they don't have any add on visor avlbl, they just sell the stock and that's about it, as far as I know. Contact them, and let us know.

For your sake, never use jugaad tricks. It may work temporarily, but in the long run it is not advisable.

                        Cheers!

Advice taken. thanks! Wouldnt settle now for anything less than original dark visor. Will need to prove my point to parents though. Actually I had contacted Bachoo guys earlier for the visor and was a bit surprised to note its cost, that said even some good quality Vega \LS2 lids come at that price point.

Precisely Imagine next time you buy a visor for your helmet, there are so many wannabes with Vega Dirt helmet at the cost of visor, ripping their bikes.

To all those how-to-run-in-the-bike-oh-it's-so-confusing. Here's an advice.
Read and follow the OWNER's Manual. Keep it simple.. Old School technique will do more good than harm your bike
