    • @guys who are looking at the GP One:

The GPOne is heavy alright.. Prolonged usage does give me some neck stiffness and even more prolonged usage leads to a full blown neck pain But then again, let me not blame the helmet because I have a prone neck as it is.

The GP One is unmatched (IMO) in terms of comfort. The cheek padding and the padding around the head is very snug and comfortable for me. Apart from me, Santa and nfs also use the same helmet (if I remember correctly).

The only irritant I have is the lack of visors for this helmet. Maybe I haven't looked around in the right places.

      Hope this helps.

The GP One is surely heavy.

I use a GP One, and I find its fitting to be perfect but the lid surely is on the heavier side. For daily commuting it's pretty okay but for touring and all, it surely feels heavy after a few hours.

Well this bit of info surely does help. The GP Ones' being comfortable is a big plus and im willing to forgive the weight factor for the advantages it offers such as : comfort, removable padding and its well within my budget

Thanks for the info dada. I gotta go GP One hunting soon. Ive heard that they're in short supply over here in Bengaluru.
Hope i can pick one up without any trouble...

I was wondering if anyone has bought a MPA-AGV lid in the last couple of months..?
I wanted to enquire as to how much one would cost.
My requirements being washable padding. Im willing to skimp on the graphics if necessary.

My budget for this lid would be around 2 grand. Im open to other brands too if they come with removable padding and are reputed to be pretty good.

                Cheers..!!
Have you bought anything yet or no ? If no, then you could pick it up from my cousin's place opposite to MTR. It's called Megha Enterprises. If you need any clarification you can call me @ 98451 23554.

Hey thanks Gautam. And no i haven't bought one yet.
Will call you up for some details whenever you are free.

Im kinda leaning towards GP Ones' now. My main criterion was the removable&washable padding feature within my 2 grand budget.
I'll just have to check out both the MPA and the GP One to come to a decision.

                  Cheers..!!

I really hope the Scorpion mentioned above is not mistaken for authentic Scorpion helmets.

                          Hi mav!!

i had purchased an MPA-AGV with a clear visor for 2100 last month. The tinted visors would cost 300 extra. i bought it from the shop adjacent to Megha enterprises on lalbagh Road.

@sam: manson is talking about the "real" Scorpion lids that are available abroad. Very good graphics, and meets safety requirements as well..
