Yep. Bought it from AQ. But about 2 months back.

Snug fit. Sturdy. Very low or nil wind noise. VFM. Got two visors hence no need to switch between clear and tinted. Just pull down the inner one when needed. Scratch resistant visor, but of course flying debris can always cause scratches.
Air vents provided at mouth and top. I'm happy with it.

PS: With Balaclava on and both visors pulled down you look like a robber.

              Hey Guys,

So I recently bought a new helmet - SOL68SII and I got it in matt black finish. This was primarily with a view of getting my own sticker job done.

My chief inspiration is a James Hunt original helmet as seen here

In addition, I also looked at Kimi Raikkonen's tribute to James Hunt that he wore at last year's Monaco GP seen here

And to this I have added a couple of elements like the Sparta Logo from Jorge Lorenzo's helmet and a funny hippo graphic I found off the net.

Anyways, I haven't gotten down to the actual sticker itself and wanted feedback from you guys on this prototype. This is just my handiwork and therefore is very primitive. I did it only to help me visualize the design. I'm open to suggestions and changes and would like to know what you guys think.

I've left some space to get Orage KTM colors into the mix once the Duke 390 is in the house. Do let me know what you guys think and then I'll start getting the Vinyl stickers printed

@Note to Mods - I wasn't sure which thread this really belonged to. I got a new helmet as well as looking at doing custom stickering.

It cost me 3200 INR. Another option was an LS2 model worth 3400 INR. But it had only one visor and to buy a spare we would've to part with another 500-700 INR. Hence I went for this one.

I normally don't ask for discount. And I didn't know then that we could get a discount from AQ.

Am buying bungee chord so that I can tie up my bag behind so that I don't have to spend more on tank bag now.

Beware though that many airport security checks do not allow helmets as hand baggage, so it will need to be packed in luggage.
Thank you for the replies. Does anyone have any idea of quality or reviews of the same?? Below is the link, I have measured my forehead its 21 1/2 so taking 22 inches size.

I like it! But a word of caution. Make sure that you use vinyls that use an acrylic based adhesive as some use petrochemical compounds that would degrade the integrity of your helmet shell. Also be aware that matte finishes are more difficult to adhere to.

Also, why don't you add some useful info like your own name and blood group on the lower trim. This will help EMS doctors if you crash and are unable to give them this data. This is old school, which old fogeys like me still do but might save your life one day.

Good luck with your project and do post some pictures of the finished helmet!

Congrats buddy. This is one helmet that needs a review real desperate. Do keep us posted. And the lady looks awesome.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                          THE END

I thought sparx s-07 is tried and tested and reviewed because some of my friends own it and also know people on xbhp using sparx..Ok heres a small review.. its heavy when in hands but not when worn .. good fit but i found my sol 68s better fitting ..this helmet screams quality be it graphics, padding or visor..if brow vents are open it doesn't fog up..yet to test on hi way and hi speeds(in excess of 130 kmph).. the main catch is graphics you got to see it in flesh to know the quality of graphics..rest about protection its ece 22-05 and DOT compliant (emblemmed properly like sol)..its a bang for buck..

Need a little input from SOL users. How many of you guys have faced deteriorating padding quality over time of usage. Had been to a shop lately and they discouraged getting SOL saying that only the paint quality is good, the padding is getting deteriorated quite fast and all. Though hard to bieleve as there would have been many people here who would have said about it. So anybody facing this issue ??

Have been using a SOL 48s since the last 1 year, 3 months. Trust me, with proper maintenance, the padding is as good as ever.
