Re: Helmets
@hunkofgals.
This can be partly attributed to packing and the way the courier guys have handled it. Because usually, mishandling from the courier side, is the prime factor for helmets being broken. They just stack it on top of other heavy items just as usual, and manhandle them. No matter how the shipper convinces them, those buggers always do their mishandle no matter what, no bullshit give attitude.
But feel real bad for both the helmets' fins being chipped off. All the best buddy. Do keep us posted. Thanks.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Re: Helmets
Hi guys!! I have liked an ls2 at the babloo motors, vashi, mumbai... Its a beautiful helmet.
The only issue am not able to cope with is the authenticity... It only has a sticker at the back end of it, when asked, people say the sticker is below the lacquer coating... What do you guys suggest?? How should a standard ls2 identified. Thanks in advance.

Re: Helmets
Hello all, I am in search of Dual Sport Helmet since I bought Impulse recently. It would be good If I get list of available helmets in the market. My budget is 4.5k max. So far I have checked Vega, SOL SS-1.
Vega one is built for its lesser price. Not having fully enclosed visor.
SOL is too heavy.
Any other models left in the market
. Thanks in Advance

Re: Helmets
Why don't you try a proper MX style helmet without the visor, and use a pair of goggles instead? This will cut down some of the weight of the helmet. I think LS 2 has one and so does SOL. Avoid the Vega - it has the build quality of a plastic mug.Originally posted by satheez_7 View PostHello all, I am in search of Dual Sport Helmet since I bought Impulse recently. Re: Helmets
There are very less branded dual sport helmets out there as opposed to dirt helmets. I'd suggest you get a full face for street use and the dirt ones if you intend to go offroading and use them accordingly.Originally posted by satheez_7 View PostHello all, I am in search of Dual Sport Helmet since I bought Impulse recently. Re: Helmets
Met with the first accident of my life, in the span of driving for 10 years..
Was driving at 70kmph on the ORR Bangalore today at 7:30AM, when a Tempo Traveler, probably driving at 80-90 speed, hit me from the side and drew away, in a clear case of hit and run.
Luckily all the impact on the bike (p220f) was taken by the handle bar and the engine guard. Nothing happened to the fairing.
Regarding myself, a lot of impact taken by my palms, knees, elbows.
Right palm's, both elbows and knees' skin has come off..
But the most impact was taken by the helmet, as i fell on face first..
After insistence from my Dad i started buckling up the helmet and got that as a habit (never used to buckle up helmet before!)
Wonder what would have happened if, I hadn't wore a helmet or not buckled up the helmet properly!
Wish i had wore gloves as well, would have spared my palm as its very badly hit.
P.s : A sincere advice, please always buckle up the helmets you wear, properly. Would be a life saver."Madness", as you know, is a lot like gravity, all it takes is a little push !
