Bro, I'll try & make this easy for you -
If you want to buy LS2, you'll have to go to Lalbagh road, you'll not only get a good deal but will also get a wide range of selection to choose from. Most reputed accessories shops will not showcase LS2, e.g. Let's gear up, Orion motors, X torque etc. they might have started selling now because of the huge demand, not sure!! If you are ready to shell out extra bucks & get a good piece viz. Sparx, Airoh, SOL, Daijya, Shoei, HJC, Icon etc., you can very well visit those stores - you'll get genuine stuff & genuine warranty & decent knowledgeable service.
    • For LS2, Cross & a few Daijya, SOL, Airoh (very limited range) you can go to Tirumala pitstop in LB rd-KH rd junction, they should have enough collection to satisfy you. Besides, the owner is quite the genuine salesman (Mr. Jain).
    • Adeshwar auto zone in LB rd. will stock a no. of LS2, Cross, few Airohs but owner here is again a bit pushy & will try to push his invalid sense in you.
    • Similarly, Helmet paradise will showcase LS2, Cross & a few Daijya - this place is always packed & you will have a tough time to get an attendee, but yea, they will still show you stuff. The sales guys here are straightforward & there replies will only convey the current market scenario of the different variants.
    • Balaji helmets in LB rd is another @#$!o!e store. Not so bad collection but their approach sucks. The owner (an oldie) will keep mum & will carry a serious mood all the time. Hard luck gettin' a good deal there - One of my friend bought his LS2 (Evil Twin) from there for 2400/- INR, only because of the exclusivity of the graphics (but I guess, price is the same everywhere now!!)

Likewise, you will get 'n' no. of shops in and around JC rd, LB rd which will sell LS2 & Cross. What deal & where will only depend on you. Out of the above mentioned places, I believe, you'll get a valid warranty in Tirumala Pitstop & Helmet Paradise & they do stock visors too.

Good luck in finding a good one!

If you want to get LS2 or Cross, the main dealers in Bangalore are Helmet Paradise, Balaji Helmets and Megha Enterprises. Everybody else gets their stock from these three. This is current market information. There are other sources too from out of state barter deals but these are just traders doing deals to square off accounts between each other. The main three direct dealers are listed above.

Prices vary because of the source and also the age of the stock. Someone posted earlier that they got a good deal at one store whereas another quoted higher. The fact is that the rates HAVE gone up because of the rupee devaluation. The guys who are selling new stocks are sourcing at the new rates, whereas the slow sellers ( read smaller trader ) may have older stock sourced at lower rates, or maybe bartered the helmets in lieu of some outstanding payments from another out of state trader - thereby not having proper VAT details, they can afford to sell cheaper. It's a complex situation and has myriad permutations and combinations by which prices are arrived at.

This is the helmet I'm talking about.

I have this same helmet and the Price was 3200rs. with some xBhp namediscount I got it for 2800 with the same Chrome finish visor.
Now I bought the clear visor also and kept in home.
Later, LS2 will stop this manufacture and you won't find the visor. :/
I too have the same helmet with a coated visor. The shopkeeper's(Helmet Paradise) initial quote was 3.2K but agreed to give it for 3k. But when I told him that I had come all the way from Mysore to BLR for the helmet, he gave it for 2.8K. I too am thinking of getting a couple of spare visors as I'll use this helmet for at least 2 more years.

The water washes away the grime preventing scratches and the paper prevents streaking.
Thanks for the tips. I used to use the so called 'lint free' cloth for cleaning. I'll start using tissues from now

I guess, I use to do the same thingy - sprinkle water & then wipe it with a soft cloth. Most scars go and the view feels great after wearing. But 'guess, nothin' can be done for the permanent/hard scratches, which are easily detected due to the tint.

I bought LS2 from Laxmi Auto Pune. But the guy at store is very rude. I wanted to buy waterproof handgloves, before visiting called him and asked if he has waterproof hand gloves. He said he has from scoyco brand, I asked him the model but he said he will not tell model on phone.

I wanted to have a look at the net before visiting the shop, he said he can not tell the model on phone for that I have to visit the shop and put down the phone.

Decided not to deal with him for any bike accessories in future.

thats strange,i have picked up quite a few products from them and faced no issues,in fact i faced a hard time with the guy at m g road pro biker but there are still customers who vouch for him,as i vouch for laxmi auto,it depends upon customer to customer.

There is nothing jingalala going to happen if the shopkeeper is gonna let the details of the stuffs he has to the customer, as a matter of fact a seller must be quirky enough to let know whatever the customer wants, it might be because he doesn't know the model name or just was procrastinating.

But there is a reason I quoted your post, which would serve as a reminder for fellow folks. It's always a wise idea to spend money where you're comfortable than where you're not because, things get really difficult when it comes to damages and warranty, personally experienced.

                      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I have never visited Roadside helmets wala The helmets I have seen are present in the same shops which sells all major brands. Though some are good but certainly not all. I dont know whats the minimum criteria for ISI certification but seeing the quality from outlook of some of the helmets, it never seemed to be satisfying.
Any way like you said debate is dead long so lets forget about it.

I have been cleaning it using a Colin and a soft cotton cloth, and then applying a silicon polish liquid over the helmet and then the outer face of the visor in appropriate amount to have a little shine. This makes it look better with no issues at all.
