Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Re: Helmets
Buddy I was in same condition as you once, bought the V**a MX one as my first helemt, at that time I was completely new into the riding scenario.Originally posted by Joel.r View PostYeah...im gonna keep it aside and buying a full face helmet..suggest me a good one for around 2k...since you are in ooty do you know any shop in coimbatore????my friend suggested me vega axor...is it good???

But later after going through xbhp threads and discussing with some friends I came to my senses. A friend who has been riding for long showed me how on a MX even if the shell doesnt collapse on impact the flimsy sun protector(is it what its called) or visor may break on impact and screw up the face.
I immediately went for proper full face, after going through this thread, decided on LS2 or SOL and got one LS2 FF350 Phobia. I wanted it the first time I put it on.
Recently one of my colleagues has bought a axor for 2k. At that time he tried Ninja, Axor and SOL(4k was costly according to him). But after trying out my LS2 he was really upset he could have got it for 500rs more.
Guys have suggested you some shops. You will know the difference once you try the brands.

Re: Helmets
There isn't any particular helemts for hot climate..Originally posted by sandy.avy220 View PostHi friends need a review about Spartan SL68s II please suggest a good helmet for hot climates
Mostly all good helemts come with ventilation and will help in easing out the heat from the head..
the one you have mentioned, looks good on paper.. With many vents and padding.. Haven't used one.. So can't comment more..
also from many earlier posts.. SOL helemts do get a good review by riders here..
Ride safe and have fun.

Re: Helmets
Guys , I am planning to get a duke soon and I am 5'9" tall and under 60 kilos
. I am looking for a light weight helmet (without compromising safety ). I had a LS2 helmet which was heavy for me , for my body
. My budget is 7.5k , I can stretch it upto 10k (Only if its worth). If possible tell me the shop name too . Also are offroad Helmets with visor advised? Thanks !

Re: Helmets
at 10k you can import a good old AGV. Probably k3 model. Check out their site for accurate details. Then checl ebay for the best prices and sellers. Duty and shipping should be around 3k. I got mine this route in 15 days of purchase. And boy did it arrive and how!

Re: Helmets
No helmet is CLIMATE FRIENDLY at least to an extent, when the humidity levels are up, you sweat and that's inevitable depending on the person you are.Originally posted by sandy.avy220 View PostHi friends need a review about Spartan SL68s II please suggest a good helmet for hot climates

Thanks !Try looking for AIROH from Bachoo Motors very very light weight helmets. And AGV, SParx, KBC from Performance Racing Store all the famous brands are here at your door stop. Don't import, unless someone abroad is purchasing it for you. The shipping costs a bomb and you can't expect how the package might be delivered to you. Safe bet, my advice would be to stay off.Originally posted by Haran Hawx View PostThank you guys! I am planning to try and buy it so importing is not an option for me
. Looks like i need to increase my budget even higher sigh!.
AIROH, AGV, KBC are all pretty light weight helmets, and imported too,
Try Bachoo Motors for AIROH
www.performanceracing.net for AGV, KBC, SparX.
Cheers!
