    Hey
Congratulations on your new lid.T hats an amazing helmet at an amazing price point.
I wanted to order the same one but i got late, and my size got sold out at the last moment.
could u tell us the whole story behind ordering it? Like which website u got it from, price, shipping charges and company, amount of customs it attracted, payment mode, time taken for the delivery etc etc.
it would help me and other fellow riders to go ahead and order our new helmets from abroad.
And i would order mine as soon as i get my size available.

    Thank you,
    Regards.

Hey guys, need a quick help. Can anyone tell me, if there are any shops in Delhi stocking sol helmets, other than Meandering India? I had ordered a helmet from MI a month back and till now they have not got the stock. Just wanted to know if there are any other options. Also, I don't want to buy it online.

Thanks . I purchased this Helmet from the USA.(MOtorcycle superstore.com). One of my Collegue travelled to the US and he got it from there. so no customs duties. Initially when I ordered it was $159+taxes. After the delivery they slashed the price by $50 and believe it I asked them for a $50 refund and they gave as price slash was within 30 days after my purchase. It was actually free shipping in the US. Scorpions are known for quality and they live it up to it. My previous expereince with scorpion, I own a Scorpion Leather Jacket almost 3.5 years ($399) and till date no issues and quality is awesome. They are expensive but quality is ultimate. Even this helmet, the quality of the visor and the foam inside is just awesome. each and every details in this helmet is done carefully. I also own a AGV K3 (black)both are good in terms of quality. The quality of the graphics is mindblowing.I enjoy riding my CBR with this helmet. The blue tint visor I brought was additional. They supply the helmet with a clear visor, I paid additional $45 for the blue tint, This blue tint is useful at nights, It is antiglare and scratch proof.

          Oh man! that's great
Without customs then it would have costed u the retail price itself.Plus,a 50 USD slash off Nice !
I wanted to order it from another website which ships directly to India and during checkout it gives the complete price inclusive shipping and customs. They use DHL or FEDEX to ship it and the package arrives within 20 days
This joker model was on sale for 105$ so the sizes sold out pretty quick.
But,now since the dollar percentage has shot up and at the same time my size is not available,i am stuck right now with Airoh and Sparx being the best snug fitting helmets for my head.
Airoh i can but but the spares like an extra clear visor costs 2000 bucks and a pair of extra liners and cheek pads cost close to 4000 bucks. It looks huge as its italian and is pretty close to an oval shape.the ventilation is great and optical clarity of the visor is perfect but the view port is rather restricted........ like most italian helmets do.The sizing runs straight according to the sizing chart as its sold by an authorized importer and dealer. and its got a 6 months warranty against manufacturing defects
Sparx is more like an american fit helmet like the ARAI or SHOEI,its shell shape is round with a narrow opening for a snug tight fit.Its spares are of low cost,a bit higher than LS2. But since there is no authorized dealer here in India, the smallest size comes is L which is totally different from the sizing chart what the brand recommends. And no warranty as well.

All the other brands like HJC (which is totally out of stock at PRS),KBC (no one imports them now),AGV (out of my budget),NUVO (planet DSG does not have them any more and are currently not importing them),NOLAN (out of budget again),LS2 (not interested as i already own one),THH (sizing is an issue,My size is XS i.e- 54 cms,and no THH comes below M),SOL (no proper sizes for my head shape as the imports start from M) ............. etc are out of my options!
By the way, whats the size of your Scorpion ? As per a detailed video review of the EXO 400 range, the guy said that it runs one size less than the prescribed sizing chart.
Ex - your size is a M according to the chart then u must pick up an L as it runs one size shorter
          Is that true ?

          Thank you,
          Regards.

My Size is L and It fits perfect. Even my AGV K3 is a L and it fits teh same. Initially I thought it was too tight..but frequent use of it makes to fit perfect. There are sizing charts avaialble. You can check in Motorcycloe superstore and select. normally the size is the circumfarence of the head measuring from the fore head.

Friends, I am looking for a JET BLACK helmet. No stickers at all. Just plain absolute black. Preferably in Matt Finish. Will be used majorly for touring.
Can anyone please point out such option so that I can go scouting specifically for the same.
                (I am based in Delhi)

                Many thanks.
You can ride a Motorcycle any day of the month. ;)

Glad that such option exists. After going through so many pages of this thread and seeing no image of a plain black one I thought it would be difficult to find.

Guys i am back after an eventful trip to pune. Bought a new helmet but i am not completely sure about it. I searched around and found helmets from brands like Daijya, Suomy, Nolan, LS2 and Sparx. The Daijya looked good but unfortunately they didnt have my size. Suomi and Nolan were above my budget starting at around 12-13k. So i was left with LS2 and Sparx and finally picked up a Sparx one. But the helmet looks physically too big for me but fits well internally is this normal? I have no experience with helmets before so it may be just that i am not used to it, the shopkeeper assured me that it was fine. It cost me around 5500/- bought it from Probiker in Pune. I am also not sure if i got an original, though i did get a box, cover, manual, set of earplugs etc.
