Re: Helmets
I don't think you get any freebie other than a bag to carry the helmet, with LS2. Check Spartan website for size chart. It will give you a fair idea.Originally posted by Repsol Blade View Post

Re: Helmets
Hi friends,
I was looking for a new helmet to replace my Vega Boolean. And finally decided to go for the LS2 FF386 modular helmet.
The Helmet World, Trivandrum had one piece (white and light green), but as I wanted glossy black, I ended up placing an order for it. They quoted Rs 5500 with a promise for a discount.
There was an ECE sticker on it and no ISI mark (I think LS2s wouldn't have ISI). And the build quality and finish was very good. But how do I know if its an original LS2 and not a fake.
Somewhere in this thread, I saw that if there is an ISI mark on an LS2, it would most probably be a fake.
Would appreciate if some one would shed some light on this..!!Your bike is a part of you....

Re: Helmets
Thanks for the input!!Originally posted by TranquilRageBuying from a reputed and vouched-for store is a good idea, maybe someone knows the store in question and will tell you.
Also, I think someone had posted that LS2 is also going/has gone for dual certification (to include ISI), so the premise that it is fake may not be correct. Maybe a look at their website or a search here will confirm either way.
The Helmet World is a new shop in Trivandrum, they have quite a large stock of imported helmets. So I believe stocking fakes would mar their growth for good.
I hope that LS2 would go for ISI certification. And further research brought be to a Team-BHP link that shows an LS2 FF386 with ISI mark and Vega logo beneath it. The post is more than a year old. Here it is, check pic 2 in post no. 748:

I see the keywords - ISI, Youth, vibrant colors and graphics, style-essential, tie-up with AGV. With the growing number of informed bikers, I can't wait to see their sales chart. Hope someone reviews them here too.BENEATH THE REMAINS.........

Tie up with AGV and they are selling it under 4000???
I'm sure then their sale will reach new heights.
