First of all if you would have used "search" feature on this thread, you would have know that there is ISI "marked" LS2 available in Delhi and with little bit more you could get old stock of Sparx (without bill). BTW the stickers that you see on Vega and new LS2 can be made for 5rs each and I can stick them on Shoei/ Arai helmets. Then would you believe that they were Indian made?

Have you really tested Vega Axor - ISI/DOT are NOT stickers

"Search" led me to posts where FM's were discussing LS2's credibility vis-a-vis their SHARP / ECE ratings
Another "search" led to a FM confirming LS2 are still sold in China for 1.5k INR - they were sold in India for 2.2-2.5k sometime back and now retail for 3.5-4k
Another "search" led to posts where - Vega is manufacturing those ISI "marked" LS2's
"search" also led to posts where people found newer lots of LS2 were of inferior quality.

I tried a few LS2's at PGS gears K. bagh - I did'nt find them quantitatively superior to Vega !

You are a fan of this Axor because you haven't used any other helmet other than this so don't be judgmental that its best that you could have bought that time.

You've declared that I'm fan of Axor - and asking me not to be judgmental !!

Now that you have bought it, I wont discourage you and ask you to ditch it, but request you to get a better helmet.

My LS2 supra,
Used it for a year and some months. Has held up really well, planning to get the same again if I can find, relatively low wind noise and love the air pump adjuster . Comfort 10/10

You may stick transparent UV-films (like those for car windows). or buy a helmet with anti-scratch visor like those available at LS2 Motorcycle Helmets - Sole Authorised Indian Online Reseller - Acebiker Moto-store ( my friends and I have bought five different design helmets from them)

Is there any way to protect the visor from getting scratches? I mean can we stick something to the visor like we do to protect mobile phone displays

LS2 unlike any other brands out there still wins hands down when it comes to sub 4k or even lesser and their helmets proven their legacy here and elsewhere. You have Studds local made brands which are 100% worth the buck with the quality to value prop. Plus, in India the better you're with an ISI the better you're off with cop hassles, at least in certain parts of India. But if you're considering LS2 it's absolutely a very good choice.

I myself own LS2 Phobia from past 1 year... I bought it for 2900rs..i don't know whether it's original or China/whatever but it has saved me from lot of dust... My money has gone no where...on this thread I first time heard a term wind noise at speed of 125kmph.. I never heard in my LS2
I want to experience wind noise.. does anyone have that helmet

I placed an order for an SOL SF1 helmet about 2 weeks ago and received a message that "Someone would get back to me shortly". Well, someone never got back so I placed another order today and called your helpline to follow up, only to be told that the helmet I ordered isn't in stock and is not expected until February-end.

I would have hoped for a better experience.

I sincerely hope this is not funny and trying to spam us with your query, because just yeaterday you were hell bent on praising the vega helmet.

If you really want one now in ₹4-7k range, you have SOL helmets (₹4-7k range models, very good in this range), LS2 (awesome low range helmets ₹3k upwards), then you can also look at ARIHO helmets (₹6.5k upwards, contact Bachoo motors for them) and HJC (these start at ₹7.5k, contact PRS for these)

Good to know that it does a good job in filtering the air from pollutants! will be purchasing the Spartan one soon if i find it.. thanks for the help

Simply wash it like any other garment you own. I carry 4-5 with me while touring so that I have a fresh one each day and wash the soiled ones whenever time permits.

Actually Vijay, these models and graphics are available from SOL International and India can get these too. However, SPG has already imported small batches of almost everything you have displayed for test marketing and the response to the graphics were not encouraging, hence it was decided not to introduce these graphics. However if demand is there, it will definitely come in.

The AXXIS features a lightweight shell which has double certification, both ECE 22.05P for the European Union and DOT for North America.
