Locked it under the 220 seat, someone stole it from my apartment, I can't believe some people, best part is, they left the damn armoured jacket but took the helmet, shows the level of knowledge the thieves had. B***** losers.

Same thing happened to me... :/ Someone just cut off the strap and took it away...

Seeing all this, I just get the feeling that someone spending almost all their lifetime to steal helmets at any cost
And the worst part is the damage that they do is much more than what we spent for the helmet... But old idea has worth a lot, holding (annoying though) in hand might well save it.

Fan-F******-Tastic, Someone stole my MT Helmet, not even a Couple of months old, with a brand spanking new IRIDIUM Visor, straight off my bike :/, I love that helmet, Now back to the LS2 Supra until I can make a trip to SPG and pick up another one.

Hey, Danny I suggest you not to use "fillers and stars" for botched terms. Understand your empathy of having lost a helmet, but in future please refrain from using "exaggerated" fillers. Keeping it simple would always help.

Hey, i have a query. I have a 4 year old LS2 Dragon which i bought from Delhi. I've always tried to keep it in pristine condition, but eventually it has started withering out. The part which touches the floor if u keep it on the ground, the rubber has come out. After which the enclosed inner padding has slowly started coming out. Moreover, just recently by mistake i dropped my helmet and the visor is full of scratches. I tried finding a replacement visor, but in vain. They have the newer visors which do not fit in my helmet.
I love my LS2, but i guess 4 years is a good time to retire it and use for local (short) commute.
So i have 2 questions:
1) is there any place where i can get the visor ( mercury or transparent ) online or in Bangalore/Mysore?
2) which new helmet to go with. Have been constantly checking reviews of MT, sounds good but im bit skeptical of the size. I have a big head , need a XL size. ( My LS2 is XL ). Budget is around 5k , so SOL is a good option. But i dont mind spilling around a couple of grand more for HJC or others if they really are worth it !!!
PS: bike is r15, use: touring (please dont start with why on earth do i tour on r15 )
Also, eventhough i have a red r15 v1, i dont mind any color The brighter, the better im visible on road, lesser prone to accidents

1. LS2 visors are available at almost all the helmet stores near Lalbagh Road in Bangalore for specific stores try Helmet Paradise or Megha Helmets.

2. Since you got your budget figured, just look up reviews for each of the helmets you are considering, try them out personally and then decide. Options: SOL SF1, HJC CL ST2, Sparx

Where can you find these models:
SOL, HJC : Let's Gear Up else Biking Spirit
Sparx: Orion Motors, Koramangala

P.S: you are right! It's a good time to retire your helmet.

I have an LS2 FF350 Phobia. Even at 135km/h, the helmet sat tightly with no shaking at all. Does the helmet fit you perfectly?
Regarding the wind noise, I don't remember perfectly as I haven't ridden since 8 months. But if I try to recall, the wind noise used to start slightly from 80km/h as a very mild whistle. The noise used to become noticeable only past 100.

No problem with the fitting bro, what really matters the wind noise. I choose this lid for city purpose only.

Hey, thanks for the tip and the directions ill check em out.
I keep on checking the bargain basement section of performance racing stores. They are offering KBC and HJC for 6k ( but only small size ). Hence, if i can get these helmets in around 6k, it would be the best!

PS: how about MT helmets ?

No problem with the fitting bro, what really matters the wind noise. I choose this lid for city purpose only.

I asked about the fitting as you said that the helmet was shaking. If you're using it for city on scooters, should be no problem at all I guess.

need a good helmet under 4000. confused between ls2 lunatic and ls2 misfits.
i live in nagpur and not a single shop which sell ls2 . went to a shop who had few vega helmets and seemed to be fake.

You have already used MT, go check out SOL. If you'd ask me, it's SOL but from the review posted here by a member, MT seems quite value for money. Go check out SOL in person; if there's a difference, it will help you decide.

If you can extend your budget till SOL, go for it. The helmets have very good build quality. Besides, you already had a taste of MT.
