Hello friends i have an old studds professional helmet,although it is in good shape ,but now i want to change it so what do you guys suggest, what helmets should i look for, helmet should not be too costly plus i don't want to buy studds again.

Thank's JayD, iam from delhi, the thing is iam noob in helmets matter,the only brands that i know in helmets are studds, steelbird and arai,shoei, the one you are talking which has got pump what kind of pump is it and how costly it is ,pls explain.

Some ls2's come with air inflatable pads inside the helmet that help the helmet fit in a customizable way for your head and face,
Recently have been doing so much research on helmets:P
Will buy one soon. Im asking my jiju to get me a carbon fiber one from saudi if possible:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P

The LS2 that are there in the market are almost all fake and the air pump is nothing but just a marketing strategy. Once it stops working there is no chance to get it repaired.
Coming to helmets , if you are on tight budget do have a look on the following : Studds Rhyno, Studds Shifter, Studds Scorpion, Vega Axor, MT Helmets. All these under 4K price tag.

If you can let me know the budget you have, will let you know other options

The LS2 that are there in the market are almost all fake and the air pump is nothing but just a marketing strategy. Once it stops working there is no chance to get it repaired.

please do not make such generalized statements. fakes are available for almost all brands, that does not make any brand better than others. you need to have a keen eye to spot the difference between original and fake.

if you buy original LS2 helmet from authorised dealer, you will get original.

we had a similar discussion in pune xbhp group regarding this, (you can check Pune xbhp group- and scroll few pages back.) I had a discussion with sales and marketing representative of MHR helmets (manufacturer of LS2) and the owner of sole indian authorised dealer. right now i am busy with personal matter, but soon i will post some interesting details about LS2 Helmets.

In the meantime, rest assured, LS2 helmet purchased from authorised dealer is original.

Can you point out where I have mentioned that other brands dont have "fakes". Please read my post again.
Secondly the person I quoted is from Delhi so my post was w.r.t to LS2s available here, so would request you to not to jump to conclusions by just reading few words from the post.

Which is defnitely not true.

Yes you have not said that other brands do not have fakes...i was just stating that others too have fakes.

If u wanted to say that you are talking specifically delhi market, you should have explicitly mentioned it.

And i am not jumping to conclusion. There is lot of wrong (half correct- half incorrect) information being spread about certain brands. Just wanted to clear the air.

It was all in good faith and i never intended to hurt you or anyone.

Prateek i can spend upto 3 or 4 thousand, and as i said earlier studds is good but in delhi summers i dont found the helmet to be comfortable, the airvents provided in the helmets is of no good use so that is why i was thinking of some other brand so pls let me know other options also. thanks chherz.

Buy a vega axor. I will be buying one too. Cost around 2000rs and is beautiful.
Please stay away from the motocross type helmets unless it costs above 10 thousand.
