Had ordered that KYT scorpion helmet on amazon when they had a 700rs off on it. Been almost 3 weeks and scumbags amazon haven't delivered it yet. Lost patience and lost interest in the product too as well. Thinking of cancelling the order.
Does anyone in Bangalore want this ? If so, I'll wait for it to get delivered. Goes well with the Duke/RC twins I guess.

I bought it from Chopra AUTOMOBILES itself and being wholesale seller they had final pricing of Rs4150.

It is mentioned on Spartan Progear website that shipping on helmets incurs extra cost of Rs 500 anywhere in india.

Chopra Helmets has just started dealing with MT Helmets from SPG, and the correct price of the helmet with VAT is Rs.4150/-. The price in Chennai is lower because there is no VAT on helmets in TamilNadu, where SPG is based. However, with insured shipping charges of Rs.500/- the final price is almost the same as the local price in Delhi, so it makes sense to buy directly from SPG only if you have no reseller in your city, or if you live in Chennai itself.

After going through posts, i am almost fixated on the MT Optimus []Spartan ProGear. @ Rs 5225

a few questions:
> does it have good ventilation[front and rear vents]?
> how durable and sturdy is the modular build? does it become loose after a period of use?
> availability of spare visor

I will try and visit the shops to try out the helmets. should i keep in mind any other brands?? I was initially rooting for SOL after @ironhorse99 gave me some links. i liked the SL68SII and SM2 []SOL HELMETS_PRODUCTS. any tips regarding availability and pricing in Pune??

That's a shame! I ordered the same helmet as you on deals day, cancelled it the next day and ordered a different shade of KYT immediately and still got it delivered to Bangalore last monday. It seems to be sent from Amazon's warehouse in mumbai to bangalore and then local delivery. Their delivery services seems to be pathetic and too many backlogs since Diwali.

+1 to that., Aadhil, Visors are like spare parts of a bike, without their availability its totally useless.BTW I have an MT Revenge Totally VFM., but here the dealer does'nt ship MT Visors, but he suggested me to go for Cross Helmet visors as it is a direct fit.!
So please enquire about a Helmet's visor before you buy one

Anyway, cancelled the order and the refund is being processed.

And now you'll get familiar with even more of their customer service and management staff and shift timings getting a refund. This is why I don't order online.
