Not worth the money, in my opinion. See it does deflect the glaring light rays, but, the normal light is also filtered. The effect is you will be seeing multi-hued surfaces in sunlight, especially on roads, windshields of cars etc. Some are used to it, but some get glaring headaches because of all the colors instead of plain light. Better go for a good quality new visor.
You may try polarized clear goggles during night. It may be helpful.

Not sure if such visors are available for ls2. Try out Vincent chase sunglasses which are Polaroid. They do a very very good job and i use them every night. However, its a tad difficult to see at night. You need good headlights. But it definitely is better than using tinted visors. Btw, there are no clear polarised sunglasses. They are tinted.

i have a custom made black tinted polarized prescription spectacle. the glass cost me 2k. and thats just two small spectacle lenses.

thats what made me wonder about the cost of the whole polarised visor..

and i'd rather use my normal glasses and clear visor in the night for maximum visibilty.

btw, polarised glasses only cut the glare that originate due to reflection. they do nothing to reduce the light coming from a direct light source. but since they are dark tinted, they also decrease the intensity of the light.

Thanks for the info guys. Well, I already wear glasses that have anti glare coating on them. But they are of no use against a high beam. Tried the tinted visor but still no avail (i open the visor while riding in double lane roads). But for single lane roads, I am blinded by high beams with a tinted visor and anti glare glasses [emoji33]
How about a dark firm that covers nearly 1/4th of the visor? Want to try this and check..

Well, polarized lenses do minimize glare from the source of light. Not just the reflection. To explain technically, there are three planes on which the light ray travels. It depends on the construction of the polarized glass as to which frame or plane of the light wave has to be absorbed and which plane to be rotated and passed through it. It is this rotation/modification of the wave that gives the other glass like windows and water droplets to appear like a rainbow!! True polarized glasses cost 6-8k which is very costly for a sunglass and totally minimize glare, be it from a source or any reflection. Most sunglasses in market however are not so effective. In fact, you get the so called polarized glasses online starting from just 250-300rs!

                Hehehehe...

Glare is caused due to the vertical plane of light. The polarization coating blocks that. Or it might be the other way round..

Anyway.. My glasses are Asahi lite.

                    Hey,
The AGV is a really good helmet, it's been getting very good reviews. Also check out the HJC-FG17. I'm using it for a month now, and it's lovely. There is a wind noise issue I'm facing but that's more due to incorrect fit as my head shape is diff. But it's the quietest helmet I've used.
If you can stretch ur budget a bit, check out the Shoei Qwest. It is hands down the most value for money helmet you can purchase under ₹25,000. Period. It has been designed for an upright riding position, and is insanely quiet. Also, it's a Shoei so safety and ventilation is top notch. I strongly recommend the Shoei Qwest
