The confident reply that i got was that we don't have them in stock right now but should get it in a week's time. They proudly claimed to be an official reseller.

I went to their shop at least 6-7 times after that and the only reply that i got was they have placed the order and they are not getting the supplies and told me to try after few days. During the winters i skipped the idea of buying them for the time being and thought of buying after winters.

The real problem: I went to their shop this sunday and asked them about the visor. Surprisingly they said yes they have them in stock. The real problem is now they are asking 1100rupees for it. I told them that while helmet you said around 700. The reply i got was that Mt has changed design a bit so now you have to get new base plates also. I said that i dont want to change the base plates because i will use the clear visor at night. They said you can change to old base plates again.

Spartan people should be responsible enough to cater to old customers also. The aim should be not just to sell products but provide after sales service also. I dont want to buy an 1100 rs visor.

Is there any other visor which can be used on axxis??
I wont suggest anyone to but Mt helmet if they plan to use tinted visors.

As far as i remember cross helmet visors fit MT. though iam not sure about it.

Thanks mail2vasant. Had been waiting for 6+ months for this thing. Why are there no pics on the site? Iridium is rainbow iridium or silver iridium?
Anyone has any images of the same.

Just couldn't resist myself. Ordered one already. Thanks a ton for notifying that its available.
Iridium looks super sexy even an night. Priced reasonably too, compared to the Blade visors.

Studds Shifter will be within your budget. Would suggest you to increase a bit and get a Kranos. Here is the link: http://www.spartanprogear.com/collections/helmets

Wow.. They look pretty. I've never heard about Kranos helmets before. What about the quality? If the quality is good, I'll surely stretch my budget and get Kranos. Meanwhile, my friend wants to get Studds Full Face Motocross helmet. Link: Studds - Full Face Helmet He previously owned Vega motocross helmet but now he wants to get this one. I'm not a big fan of motocross helmets. So I guess this is the best place to ask this question. What's your opinion on Studds Motocross helmets?

Here are a few snaps of my Studds Shifter:

It's (Studds Shifter) is the Best ISI marked, Made in India helmet that I have seen till date. Pretty sturdy and decent.

Its the in house brand helmet of Aspida...its as good as MT helmets. Just because its in house so its cheaper than MT.

                          • Online sites to buy original helmets

Does anybody know any ecommerce site dedicated to selling auto parts and accessories? Most of the auto stores in my city sell limited number of good brand helmets so I though about checking up with Flipkart, and Snapdeal but my friend told me that he was once cheated as he received a dubious product so I want to know if there are any websites that sell original helmets and bike accessories.

There are multiple vendors who sell stuff ... depends on what you are looking for.

There are groups in Facebook that I usually refer to. PM me what you want and I'll suggest a reputable place to buy those. You might have to research on those vendors on your own (My trust on them is not a certificate right :-P)

The thing with FB is that there will be people who have already bought from those places and you can find reviews about the business itself.

For product reviews I generally refer to revzilla and then try to find that product in India. That's how I bought my Scorpion SGS gloves and Arai helmet. They have great sizing charts which help when buying online and Anthony provides great product description.
