  • Re: Helmets

This one's mine ... Steelbird Ares Pro + ... Fits snuggly ... The only issue I found while driving for long distances, my ears start to hurt ... I dunno why ??? Maybe it's new. But with my previous helmets I never had this problem.

I was expecting double D ring fasteners as reported by reviewers. But this helmet comes with micrometric fastener

          That reason for deletion, though.

FF351 is currently being sold for 4500+ Rs, at that price range MT Axxis is a much better option with a double D ring fastener, better padding etc. And if you are looking for a helmet in the same class of LS2, then consider Studds Shifter. It is just a simple step down from LS2 FF351 is but costs lesser than half of what the LS2 does. And adding to the scenario, there are more fakes of LS2s around! If brand value is an issue then go for LS2 over shifter. I had all three of these helmets, where MT Axxis being the better lid , FF351 and Shifter are on the same league (LS2 is slighlty better though. But considering the fact that LS2 costs more than twice of what shifter does, Shifter is a much better option.)

You might get it at Headgear, situated at Anna salai mount road. they deal with LS2 in bulk orders. Before you go there, just call them and enquire whether they have the desired spare on stock, might save you some time.

Kranos is a better option with regards to the helmet being genuine and after sales support.

There's hardly any good helmet under ₹2000/- price bracket, increase your budget and get MT kranos or even studds shifter.
