you can check either , Vega Axor, Studds Shifter or AXR helmets [ vega, studds both under 2.5k price range and has DOT certified, while AXR is around 3.8-4.2k and has both DOT and ECE certification, and has far better padding than both entry level LS2 and Kranos]

Hey Helmet experts! I have a simple question for you.
Help me choose between MT Blaze vs SOL Unicorn SII.

Re: Helmets
MT would shine when compared to SOL, I can vouch for noise isolation, Internal padding, visor quality and comfort.Originally posted by VaruaG View PostHey Helmet experts! I have a simple question for you.

Since SOL has number of vents, it will be well ventilated but noisy at higher speeds. SOL is heavy too, now we don't know wether you will be able to handle the heaviness of SOL once you have tried the MT.
SOL is only DOT certified whereas MT qualifies for DOT and ECE
As for graphics is concerned, SOL wins hands down when compared to MT.

KBC Helmet Base plates
Hello All...
Does anyone happen to have phone number for the manufacturer of KBC helmets? Or even a genuine dealer will do.
Had an accident on 2nd Jan'16 and broke my visor's base plates (the place where you mount the visor). Have been trying to get one since then. Even placed order from where I bought the helmet (chopra's at Karol bagh) but to this day, after more than 3 months, he is still sourcing the goddamn item!
I will be doing Spiti-Sach-Killar-Kishtawar on 29th May. Need the plates. Else, I probably will need to get the LS2 CR1. Atleast it's parts would be available I hope.
I live in Delhi mostly. So, it would be a great help if you can direct me to someone or even for online orders. Thanks!!....Riding the Indian Monster : 200NS....

Re: Helmets
Can anyone help me to get the manufacturer details for KBC (Ph. Number / email please). My visor mounts (base plates) have broken and I can't find a new one since Jan 02 2016. The dealer in Delhi (Chopra's Helmets) are still in the process of sourcing the item after 3 months. I will be going on a trip on 29th May and if I can't get this, I probably have to go for LS2 CR1 (atleast the parts are readily available). thanks in advance!!....Riding the Indian Monster : 200NS....

Preferred brands are Studds, Vega, Steelbird. With lots of RESEARCH on and offline, 11th March, 16, I bought STUDDS Shifter full face helmet in Matt black L size. The purchase was made online through Amazon.com. The seller was TAMS -The Automotive Suppliers. The price was 1929.00 including shipping to ASSAM.Originally posted by Chandan92 View PostThere's hardly any good helmet under ₹2000/- price bracket, increase your budget and get MT kranos or even studds shifter.
WORTH EVERY PAISE. With dual visor (outer clear transparent & inner is half tainted black, no need to carry sunglasses 😎

I have other option like MT Raceline Cz of its internal visor. But I love the styling & casino graphics. For Internal visor I could adjust with an spare clear visor or an ray ban aviator.
But I couldn't do extensive research Cz of my work. I don't get good signal & internet connectivity Cz I live in an remote construction site. I get a very slow 2G.

Re: Helmets
Hi all,
Is there any good online site to buy AXR, THH, and LS2 helmets? Or can anybody from Guwahati tell me from where I can find a good helmet store that stores those helmets.
P.S- Most online retailers like Flipkart and snapdeal don't deliver those helmets in my town.

Re: Helmets
word of advice , don;t buy it from online store , if you want to buy online , first visit local shop and check size and fitting of the Helmet and finalize the product and order online , else get offline.Originally posted by PULKRY0 View PostHi all,

Oh, and BTW drop THH from your list , as THH is not at all have good quality compared to other brands in same price range . check in store , you will realize it
