Re: Helmets
Since I am reading all threads hear for quite some time and gonna get my first bike in life, I am very cautious on this things Dinesh, thanks again for remaining full face helmets I am on the same boat too. Have posted comment on jackets too in that thread waiting for fellow riders Guidence. Fixed with MT full face. Is that fine to take full face helmet that we can open and close the front side. As I am trying to be Xbhpian I won't open My half lid and drive.Originally posted by dineshaugustin View Post

Re: Helmets
I would also suggest a full face helmet. Open face helmet in case of fall has high chance of breaking up from the joints, thus exposing the face and chin.Originally posted by SK. MT is a good choice and the RE AGV is actually manufactured by MPA helmets in India, Its not the same AGV that is available in other countries.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Re: Helmets
Time to retire Vega Boolean.
I'm in the market for a helmets upto Rs. 3500-3700. Full face and inner sun visor with considerable noise reduction (compared to Boolean) are must. What are my options?
Does LS2 FF350 or 351 have inner sun visor?
Where can I find MT helmets in Pune? They are not available on snapdeal anymore.
What happened to Daijya helmets? It was very popular name on this thread.
EDIT: I did googling on those questions but ran into some debates which confused me even more.

Re: Helmets
Found something which addresses issues which are generally given by people not wearing helmets.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Helmet use does not harm one's physical health, assert city-based doctors. They rubbish commonly cited 'health' reasons for not wearing the helmet as nothing but myths and excuses and say that the benefits of the safety gear far outweigh any health-related drawbacks.
Rejecting all theories linking helmet use to back and neck pains, orthopaedic spine surgeon Ajay Kothari said these are mere excuses. "Every year, at least 15-20 cases come to me with complaints of back or neck pain with the patients conveniently associating their discomfort to use of helmets. However, a thorough examination of their condition and x-ray scans reveal completely unrelated reasons like a past or family history of back or neck problems, poor posture, excessive hours in front of the computer and even poor diet," he said."

Go to Moto 101 at Dhole Patil road for MT helmets. You need to increase your budget for MT with sun visor.
I don't think Daijya helmets are sold anymore. But still check with Planet DSG.
Cheers

Re: Helmets
But majority of studies have shown these are just excuses given by people who don't want to wear helmets.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostTheir marathi newspaper - The maharashtra times - however publishes big article daily on how bad the helmets are.
Anyways, most here use helmets and that's what matters.
