I have just bought a new Vega Helmet for 2850/-.
The visor is lightly tinted so Night Riding is also good.
The visor is anti glare also I guess.
The fitting is quite tight as the helmet didnt move a bit at 140 also.
But I am having a small problem.
After wearing it for an hour so My ears pain and they start buzzing like I have just come from a disco.
Is it normal or my ears have some kind of problem.
What can be the solution if its not my ears.
ThanksRachit K Dogra

Could you please post pics of the helmet? I have a feeling it is the same one which I have ordered for! If yes, then there are 2 sizes-S(55-56cms.)&M (57-58cms.) My size is 60cm., but when I tried on a size M which was well bedded, I felt comfortable with it.Originally posted by rachitkdogra View PostI have just bought a new Vega Helmet for 2850/-.

As Aryan says, helmets eventually get adjusted to the shape of your head.
Same was the case with my Ninja&now Boolean (62cms.dia)
Please check the below chart for helmet size&compare to what you have purchased. You need to put an inchtape just above your eyebrows&measure.
New Page 1
If you are still facing problems, please ask your helmet shop to adjust the padding for you. It can be made thinner or thicker as per your requirements in the places where you are feeling uncomfortable.Last edited by Sarvajit; 03-20-2009, 03:45 PM.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Guys! I need help with my Boolean. My bike got towed last Saturday. Luckily she was unscathed. But my Boolean was also on the bike. It was hung on my bike's saree guard. But due to all the lifting and tossing around of the bike to get it onto the van, my visor is left with some real nasty scratches. They are thankfully not in the field of vision. But I don't know how to replace it. Heck can I even replace it considering how it is mounted? I'm kinda wary of opening those side panels lest they become loose.
Will post pics by this evening.10 Commandments:

Do you leave your helmet on the bike dude???
I never do it. I usually like to find some shop which keeps helmets for an hours or so, He charges of course. If no such shops I dont go to such places

I'll get back you for that Bandhav !
However, i have no MPA logo on my lid anymore, so technically i needn't be offended

Its pretty heavy while riding too mate. I own one with the very same pattern too albeit in grey.Originally posted by Hyperion View PostI got a new MPA AGV for 2.5 K + 250 for the tinted visor. It feels a little heavy while holding but comfortable after wearing it.
It took me a good couple of weeks to get used to the weight of the lid and for it to stop being a pain in the neck literally
An excellent lid though. Very comfy, Superb visor (I bought a tinted one though) and the removable+washable padding is a real boon to avoid sweat related smells and stains.
The ISI rating also goes a long way in setting it apart from the bevy of Chinese and Indonesian makes.
Congrats on the purchase btw !

Thanks a lot. I found the padding and overall fit and finish to be much better than Cross and Index, which seemed very cheap and rickety.Originally posted by MavericK46 View PostGrrr..
