@Saif: Damn ya! Bloody miscreants!! Go for the Vega. Otherwise find out if the DSG stores in Mumbai are willing to sell the rest of their Daijyas at a lower rate.

YES people. The Daijyas are still around in the market. The MotoShop in Mumbai Central has the old stock left with them. Technically its not an old stock. Old in terms of not being the Marushin range. Which in my opinion is exhorbitantly priced. And to think I once thought the Daijyas were expensive!

where.... i lost my helmet too.. so was plannin to buy the MPA AGV.... but nw uv caught my attention...can u help wit the addresS?

    • Checked out some helmets, shortlisted VEGA 2.5k helmet (does anybody have a model name for it?) and new Ninja 3G, Ninja's padding was amazing whereas Vega felt good ergonomically..anyone here using a ninja 3g?

@46wannabe: Yeah i'm pretty much interested in Daijya's, if they still in stock. Bro, Please post the address of motoshop.

@atulaherwar: Jogeshwari 24 Karat, some a$$ nicked my lid and the security was clueless , wht happened with you?

Do you have the glossy or matt black? I have ordered for the glossy black as I've had a small bad experience with the matt finish Boolean. Got the side panels changed coz they started to peel off. Can you please post pics of your lid?

Thanks Bandhav! I have also ordered for the same plain glossy black. Can't wait for it to arrive. The first thing I will do is put an xBhp.com sticker on the back!

I haven't seen the new Ninja 3G. Could you please post pics/give me a link to some site which displays it?
I have used the Studds Ninja Decor 2 for about 4 years. Its padding was very good, but the flip-up mechanism is pretty delicate&if you lose one of the springs, it it is not possible to get one as spare. Best to use it in closed mode only.
Coming to the Vega Boolean, its flip-up mechanism is good, visor quality is excellent, has good venting&even a small breath deflector built in, but padding is a severe disappointment, especially near the forehead area. Also, it performs very badly on highways-tends to get stuck to the chin at high speeds&also whistles a lot, causing buzzing in the ears. This was never the case with the Studds Ninja. It was very silent&fit well even at high speeds.
Which is the reason why I am disposing the Boolean&going for the imported Vega, which seems to match up to basic international helmets in terms of quality&features.

                          • @Saif, Atul: If you go by western railway to Mumbai Central, then get off on the eastern side. Walk out for about 6 minutes till you reach the main road. Cross to the other side and ask a cabbie to take you to Nagpada police station. Don't worry he won't ask you why. :P
It costs a minimum fare of 13INR.
The cabbie will drive you to a cross-road [Junction with signals for 4 lanes] Go straight. The police station is just a few seconds from the other end of this signal. Get off and walk backwards towards the road that is heavily barricaded due to BMC work. losta cement and digging over there.. Hard to miss it.
Walk down that road till you see a shop on the left with a large red background neon sign board that says "The MotoShop"
                            Bingo!

However, they have a new one in Bandra now.
