Studds shifter but only if it fits snugly on ur head and doesn't move easily. As Dominar is a fast bike and if the helmet is not snug it would move at triple digit speed and give u neck pain. For this same reason I stopped using my Studds rhyno on highway rides and now using SMK twister.

Studds Rhyno(using personally), shifter and scorpion are good helmets but mostly available in 580mm or 600mm though the site shows 570mm but it is hard to find.

My head size is 560mm and my 580mm is fairly snug on my khopda but it satrts shaking at high speed so i am only using it inside the city. And fro this reason only i bought smk twister in s size which ia 550mm. Smk is snug and doesn't moves at high speeds but does gets noisy at high speed.

Hey guys just got my new studds scorpion helmet from Amazon....
It's L size helmet... As from the pics you can see that it's got ISI rating...
But shockingly it's got DOT (FMVSS no. 218 certified) certification.... I don't know about it's authenticity... Can someone enlighten me...
Otherwise my SMK twister had got only ECE rating...

Amazon Description says it's ISI certified, but people in the reviews also have stated that there are DOT certification stickers on the helmet! If it's legit, that's insane, a DOT certified helmet for Rs. 1300!

So guys I have decided to Go for the MT Axxis one. But I heard that it has been discontinued. Is it true? Also the helmet is a very tight fit, but I have been told by a user that the padding settles down and becomes comfortable after some time. Just need some of your opinions before I buy it. 😊

Nice helmet . This same helmet is currently available at Spg official site at mrp of 4750, so it means it is not discontinued as spg is the authorized importer and distributor of mt.
And yes the tight padding would get comfortable with usage.

Got the helmet today. But it hurts my temple area while removing. Otherwise it's fine.

It'll be ok with the passage of time. Try to wear the helmet by adjusting it in diff. ways.

As I had previously pointed out in this thread, Studds Scorpion and Shifter are DOT certified shell and even sold in European nations with a EU shell but hard to find in India.

Dot is open American certification and is easy to apply for the same . And studds has good quality shell and padding so Dot is easy for it.

I am planning to buy ORGINE GT TEK. Is it worth or is there any better helmets. This helmet costs 7k after discount.

Buy something for you would be able find spares like visors e.t.c at reasonable price.
For origine it would be tuff to find replacement visor.
Try the Mt range or smk, Hjc, sol, thh there is also a new entrant shiro.

I would recommend to buy Mt revenge (7475/-) or Mt blade (7000), I have mt revenge and have absolutely no complaints yet. All spares like visors, paddings and pinlock is easily available
