Nice fight!
I personally felt that Daijya was manufatured buy DSG and marketed by them. No offence meant to DSG if ur reading this.
I love the helmet. Only part i hate abt them is the plastic add on(which looks really cool) and the non-functioning vents
Shell and padding feels secure.
Am satisfied with daijya for the price i paid for it (3.5k)
@chilled fire
NOW which side should i take?

Vega bought!
Hi All,
Just got myself this lid from Vega, spent half a day rummaging thru shops on Mount road, and GP road (chennai). Finally picked this one out for 2600 INR. let me know of your views. Fit and finish is very nice. There are 8 vents in total. 5 in the front and 3 on the rear. the lining is removable/washable. Only strange thing about this is that there is no ISI labelling, but its ECE certified.Last edited by thaker1985; 03-30-2009, 08:11 AM.

, dunno why people r calling it so
it is a complete paisa-wasool product. really liked the quality.
Me got the exact same helmet bro.... Difference is mine has graphics on it, with a glossy finish... also the Visor is Mirror finish and is amazingly good even for rides at night.
Got mine for 2.6 K

Well wont agree on the point highlighted...Originally posted by snehmads View PostI am in total disagreement with Chetan. My SparX is the best
Daijya is all show and no go. How can one endorse it? How can you even think to compare this cheap chinese crap with an american brand
I would not go for it even if you are gifting it to me

Enough said. On a serious note, A good padding should be soft enough to be able to shrink so that it take the shape of the head. It's my understanding.
Regarding soft padding, i will be able to comment only after 6 months of use. It has been holding my head pretty much tightly for last 3 months.
Even I feel Daijya got a perfect grip (fitting i mean
)
Not even a single helmet had made me feel so light+secure at the same time.

Spidy mere bhai, fitting depends on the face structure. My head fits well in my helmet. Tu kuch khana peena chalu kar
And fitting is not the ONLY parameter. In general, any decent branded stuff works better than a Nana Peth ki paidaish.
Regarding this RST helmet, looks good like Daijya. Never heard of it except on xBhp. I will try to find some info.

never knew Formula One drivers used Arai helmets and Alpine Stars riding gears. Saw the brawn gp team use it o.o
@thaker i had got a similar looking helmet.. only thing missing is the vents on the head.. forehead and nose/mouth vents are there in mine.. but its MPA and i paid 1.9k and i feel ive ripped off
. Anyway yours looks nice, but 2.6k is not a good deal i would say. I am not sure though as i do not know the prices in your city
Lets put a smile on your face

if the difference is sizeable.. you can ask someone to buy it at a place where you get it cheaper and then ask them to ship it or send through a friend/cousin how is coming to your city.. but then the fit is something you will have gamble on
but its a risk we take if we are getting something from the US heheLets put a smile on your face

I have tried a new one size M (57-58cms.)which I felt was tight. My head size is 60cms. They said they cannot increase the size beyond that (they adjust the padding). Then, I tried a friend's bedded in same lid of same size&found it was fitting perfectly, neither tight, nor loose! So, I took it easy&ordered for it.Originally posted by terrordrone View Postif the difference is sizeable.. you can ask someone to buy it at a place where you get it cheaper and then ask them to ship it or send through a friend/cousin how is coming to your city.. but then the fit is something you will have gamble on

Later on, I checked my Studds helmet which is size 580mm.(58cms.) In one year plus of usage, it has also bedded in according to my head shape. So, I was thinking about the sizes which are like only 2cms.apart. Though there are various sizes, do they really make that much of difference if the helmet eventually takes the shape of your head, even with slightly different size?
This is something to think about. One logical answer is the shape of the head, jaw etc.
What do you think?Quench my thirst with gasoline!

I think the prices vary city-wise.
