So MORTH made manufacturing and SALE of Non-ISI helmets an offence. So this could be death knell for imported ECE and SNELL helmets in India. Im sure this will be excuse for Police to renew their crackdown on bikers also with imported helmets.

And BIS guys in their infinite wisdom, has specified the max permissible weight of a helmet as 1.5kg. So it doesnt matter if is is Half or full face, S,M,L, or XL size, the weight of helmet should be less than 1.2 kg?

So finally I have to forego my ECE helmet and get a BIS helmet with questionable safety. Great.
For them, safety is another medium for bad politics.
Pretty hard for sellers who sell HJC, Arai to clear their stocks.
Lets see if by any chance they allow to use our existing SNELL or ECE helmets, else my HJC would go to dustbin?!
If they would have concentrated more on the quality of roads that could have saved many lives instead.

It was also fit. I know it should fit me proper. But i literally needed to push it on my face. I believe I might need xxl. Which I can't find anywhere. By the way my head measured at around 61 cms. It might be quite big. Please help finding a helmet guys. Online is better.....

Budget is somewhere around 5k. And for temporary basis need 1 immediately. Which any decent brand would do. Please suggest.

      Thank you

Means you have a 610mm head size so a 600mm helmet would fit snuggly , a snug fit helmet does require bit of effort to wear for first week or so and it would be tight on cheeks but would get comfy after the break in, the studds you have mentioned seems like the perfect fit, try studds scorpion. Though i normally do not recommend steelbird as the padding is thin but in your case it could be handy try steelbird air series the sba1 not the sba2 sba2 lack padding, try in 600mm size it should work for you.
Or else check smk helmet they have sizes upto xxxxl in the glide series and xxxl in stellar and xl in twister and force steel.
Xl in smk is 610mm to 620mm.
        Check at your local stores

Hi all, so I have this LS2 Helmet which I purchased a few months back, it was tight fit and the straps used press on my ears , my ears were near liking this helmet but back then the shop guy said it will be comfortable eventually, but even after wearing it for 9k KMS my ear still hurts in long run. As I wear helmet my ear takes different shapes it's never comfortable. I recently used another LS2 Helmet from my frnds which it costed him 6k+ but that fits perfectly. My costed some 4.5k . (Mentioning the prices because I am not sure about the model codes. )So any solution for this? Can I change the inner padding to the better ones like the one. With 6k helmet. Appreciate your help.

                Helmet shape is to blame.

Bell qualifier is an non sense helmet considering its price.you will be better off with a MT at that price range. Protection wise it's ece and dot certified but that's where the goodness ends in the helmet.

Just beware of the counterfeit of Ls2 helmets. Ls2 as a brand is a really good one, its just screwed up due to the counterfeits and probably the Indian distribution.
You can also check SMK and MT helmet in that price range.

No shop in KB is trusted. Avoid any helmet thats in question for the last 3 years and is selling just because of looks.
