  • @ Drumster: Small cotton caps are also available, which cover only the head part..that way you will not feel the heat also..

    • or else the cheapest option is get a handkerchief for Rs 10/-, cover your head, put the lid and ride on.. as simple as that

It works really well for me even for hot climates. Also keep atleast three of them so that you never wear the same stinking one

          • I use a Studds helmet. Good build quality and nice fit. Some models are even endorsed by OEMs (Honda).

              • friends some one suggest me helmet in the range of 2000 and 3000..

The helmet should be of light weight...

                That is the only concern

                      • Where do the SparX/KBC/other helmet owners get replacement parts like visors from?
I know of Performance Racing Store selling them, but what about spare visors-do they supply/ship them too?
Guys using these imported lids please chip in.

                          • Well, a Balaclava really helps, but if any one is still intrested in washing and drying thier lids up quickly heres what you can do...

take some luke warm water, put some nice fresh lime, put some mild detergent in it... work up some lather..... pour in this water or immerse the helmet in this water and rub\rinse the liner\padding etc....!!!

After some time, repeat the same with normal water...

Then get some good old trusty newspapers....crumble them and make some paper balls of em, and stuff the helmet with it.... you might want to change your paper balls in first 5 minutes too!

By next morning the helmet should be all dry and more important would be smelling better!

PS: Works with Sports Shoes as well.... just in case you dont have removable padding in them ::
