Hey guys, I need a desi flip-up for my daily city and office commuting. My Daijya comes in way many a times when I need to remove it, since I wear specs and they need to be opened before taking off the lid...

The best one seems to be Studds Ninja around here, but I checked it out once at a friend's and it looked like it won't hold up in case of a severe fall. The chin part looked too flimsy. Any more brands that you can mention? Budget under 2k rupya.

1. Studds Ninja 2G/3G around Rs.13-1400.
2. Vega Boolean around Rs.1800.

I had the Boolean&now have the Studds Ninja 2G, it is quite sturdy&I recently tested it out at 140kmph too, it didn't dislodge one bit. Very less whistling compared to other helmets.

this helmet fitting really good. this lid cost is 1200rs.

The shell design looks very attractive and new to the eyes and at 1200/- its definitely a good deal

Where can I pick up balaclavas in Chennai? Preferably on the cheap,since I sweat a lot, and would like to ave a couple at my disposal at a time.

@Grease_Monk: You can purchase balaclavas from Pioneer helmets at GP Road. Costs Rs 50/- per piece.

Has anyone came across poor quality issues in Daijya helmet ?

I own one , seen beside...

Now the problem with this helmet is ,
1) Its inner thermacoal sell is cracked because i fixed it to one of the helmet lock at the time of servicing...
2)Air vent near mouth no longer works , the plastic when pushed to on position slides back to off instantaneously ...
3)A moron accidentally dropped it from a desk in the college and tht fall from 3 feet resulted in this ...
I have sticked it back with feviquick ...


Was this helmet worth 5000 Rs I spent ?

Contact Mr. DK from Mumbai.. He owns the same lid.. and faced the same prob.. His lid fell from a very short height and the outer shell had a crack...
