I have a query here.

A helmet with Fibre Shell or a Polycarbonate Shell is SAFE?

I know both of them are good,but generally speaking which shell has more life & in case of an accident save a LIFE.

it's daijya...& from japan or any place foreign is quite questionable..

new brand you referring to is marushim which is way too costly...

you can write a mail to planetdsg for daijya & they can ship it to you...

^ Marushin is way above standards(in quality and monetary dept. ) of Daijya..currently PlanetDSG is not stocking Daijya(s) anymore. But, if lucky its still available at some of stores(1 in mumbai and 1 in Delhi).

Buddy, a tinted visor is not advisable especially if you ride at night. (unless your headlamp is like a searchlight)...if it gets scratched up, it is even worse.

My mercury visor got a few scratches!!! im kinda depressed it's hardly been 2 weeks since i got mine so,...

I think its due to pebbles on highways!

bro how deep are your scratches ? if they are not very deep , maybe you can use to plastic polish to get rid of it ... i did this on my old helmet to get rid of scratches that occur due to dust and particles hitting the visor while riding ... but , I dunno if it will work with a tinted visor . mine was clear , so i'm not that sure ...

Can you please tell me the name of the plastic polish product&if possible price&a pic please? I would like to use it on my bike's visor.

LS2 helmets in Mumbai were being quoted at 2400-2600 range on Grant Road. When I first saw the brand I was not sure but after some research it looks good. 4800 looks like a direct conversion of euros. Which store in hyd is quoting these prices. i am here for a couple of days, I will go and check them

I was checking for LS2 online couple of days back, some of them are being sold at huge discounts of 70%. 22 Euros. man I wish we can get those deals here

By the way is it better to buy a helmet in Hyderabad or Mumbai or Pune /Bangalore. I am from Hyd and therefor Sankranti , living in Mumbai (searched grant road and abndra) and will be there in Pune/Bangalore next week. Which is the city to get best helemts with respect to fit, brands and price

The shop mentioned above was selling a matt black LS2 lid for Rs.3.8K. I tried it on&it felt awesome-super light, compact&comfy. Do you think the price is too high?

No idea about Pune, but Performance Racing Store sells them in Mumbai. I think the solid one costs Rs.5.5K-well justified, considering the international price is also about 110$.

hey , i'm really sorry man , it's jus a small bottle i have , it doesn't have any label or anything , ( must have torn off ) , i jus happened to find it at home , so price is again something i don't know .

Both the helmets r equally same only thing is in fiber glass shell u won get proper finishing compare to ABS as production cost is to high. thing is that in which range ur planning to get the helmet?

Thanks @Sarvajit. That's correct it costs ~$110. I know, I will have a more choice @performance in Mumbai. Just was trying to figure out if I could get one in Pune itself and skip the Mumbai visit. The review for S-07 are quite good. If I go to Mumbai, I will have more choice like KBC and more.

Helmet Sizes

Hi All,

As suggested by a few members I am looking to buy a AGV-MPA / Gp-One helmet.

I have checked many shops in Mumbai for the helmets but donot seem to get my size. I require a M/S size (As my head size in a bit over 56 cms).

In all shops I am getting either a L or XL and hence the helmets are loose.

The shopkeepers are saying that these compaies only manufacture one size, which is not true as I have seen online and they manufacture from XXS to XXL. The shopkeepers are saying that for a snug fit they can change the inner lining and put t thicker one, which will not give adequate protection. Can anyone let me know a shop in Mumbai where I could get S and M size helmets.
