  • guys i went to a helmet shop today checked out many models of agv, LS2, vega , etc, out of which a vega high end full face grabbed my attention. It is extremely light weight compared with others i ve mentioned and also fits perfectly. The padding was much more comfortable than booligan's. he quoted 3500 for both vega and ls2 but i think vega is more VFM. i am attaching the pics of the two.
I now need to know if these same helmets are available at lower prices anywher in blore or pune, coz i ll be heading to these places next month. If there is considerable price difference, i ll buy it there, else will get it from here.

U may get this cheaper in different cities but the thing is local dealer can give u better service than other if there is any manufacturing fault or any problem he will serve u best i dont thing for 200-300 u should buy from other city, buy helmet from where do u stay because u carry helmet around 2-3 years so i suggest to buy from ur local dealer try to get best deal.

Almost similar, except for an extra vent and superior padding.

                  • twin visors

I currently own a Scorpion Exo 1000 which has a 2 visors. A plain external visor and a tinted internal one. This really helps me ride in all light conditions without having to carry additional visors.

Does anyone know of an Arai, Shoei, Nolan, Icon or any other reputed brand with this feature.

                    • ^I know of an Italian brand called Caberg. Google it. Apna desi Boolean is an exact copy of one of their older models which has now recieved an upgrade with bluetooth.
BTW, how much did the EXO 1000 cost you and how & where did you purchase it from?

                            • My head size is 53~54. is it ok if i get AGV (L) 60cm size and do extra padding? Coz the shopkeeper told that they will do it for free. I can't find any good branded helmets for my head size. All are above 58~60.

Unless it is an original padding - it is certainly not reccomended. you are better off wearing a good Indian helmet instead.
