What are the chances of running into a fake vega boolean ??
Because the side panels guarding the flip up feature looked a little flimsy in the helmet he showed me. he even tapped it and he was like "cant you make out by the sound that the quality is bad"
the rest of the helmet looked pretty strong though.

Try balaji helmets over there.they r dealer for vega.

hmmm... surprising they say that , unless ofcourse you initially asked for a helmet higher up the price range , ... then yes , he may have said that , but otherwise , the boolean isn't bad at all , my bro's got onefor around 1.3k from balaji helmets bangalore and it's been pretty good so far , once wen the clamp broke , balaji replaced it for free as it was under warranty .

PS- which color did you owned..??

i own a Matt black.
i didn't liked the shiny black and the decals version(white and blue)
so i got Matt black which matches my bike color too.
and also the visor and tinted visor are optically corrected to zero power so even if i have 3 transparent surfaces in front of my eyes(main visor+tinted one+ specs) i don't get any distorted images!

Guys help me decide which is the best helmet among these.
Vega boolean-1.6k
Index-2k(looks awesome but no removable padding also, tinted visor)
studds ninja 3g-1.3k (but only black colour and no designs also)

I initially wanted to buy boolean, but the shopkeeper guy says its not a good helmet, it might break even if it drops from your hand etc etc.

Any other helmets available within 2k range ??
I want one which has a good design, and not too heavy.
movable chin guard, inner visor and removable paddings are secondary but preferred.

p.s. please reply fast, i want to buy it tomorrow itself

Well u can go for AGV(MPA)...it is not a flip helmet...full face...its light,negligble whistling at high speeds, removable paddings...and nice graphics...i got one ..cost me 2k...

Is mpa as good as agv ? i heard mpa only manufactures the agvs and puts a higher price tag just for the brand name ?

Didnt even show studds or mpa or vega until i asked for boolean

Anyway, does the warranty for boolean include any breakage ?? like intentionally dropping it etc ??

Had been to Lalbag road today (Helmet Hunting).. LS2 last bargained price 3k.. Helmet Paradise (the one opposite Urvashi main entrance)... He's not willing to go below this price

Me in a dilema whether to take if off for 3k cause people in chennai and cochin have got it for around 2.5k to 2.6k...

i went to allibhai premji....but i didn't find any good one...they had the whole range of vega...
& i live at tardeo...so i know bachoo & performance racing store ...they are 2min away from my home ...but i think this both shops are expensive
& my budget is only Rs 2000
