i have heard that CROSS helmets are not DOT certified. Is it true? Correct me if wrong.

2.5k should be about ok for that lid. Found the same for the same price in a Yamaha showroom in b'lore. So i guess JC road with good bargaining it should be 300-400Rs cheaper. But again depends on how good u can bargain

Yes dude you are correct i could bargain more well the price quoted was 2.7k so only bargained 200.

there is only one dealer here in jaipur so obviously prices are higher for cross.

i have no idea abt the certification but in the recent motorids magazine one of the test rider was wearing a CROSS and in the riding gear column it was written as CROSS DOT...so maybe they mean its DOT certified. not sure!

I bought a clear visor 2 months before.

Clear visor - 500rs. Iridium/Chrome Visor - 600rs

You can swap it any time, just 2mins job. But not advised to swap very frequently as it may losen your latch that holds the visor.

Could you provide a brief description of how to do so man ?

i planning to buy mpa-agv white or one with graphics whats the current price in bangalore? also would like to know what all places to check other than balaji & helmet paradise..

You could try out the Reliance Autozones. There is one near HSR. They stock MPA AGVs as well as MPAs. The MPA AGVs retail for Rs 2095. They have the plain black ones as well as a few with designs on them.

i have only seen the pic of that helmet.......it's a black one with some graphics..........how much should i pay for that he bought that 1600/-....

Its just fiber clipping system, u ve to lift a small clip and lift up the visor little more than usual it will come out. How do I explain it in words

While buying Visor they ll demonstrate you. I didn't take a spare visor which the dealer tried to sell me. I took the one from AGV original helmet and told him to put that spare one to AGV

If you really like it you can go for it at about half the price or even lesser(helmets generally have no resale), but avoid if dropped even once from waist height.

i dont remember dude,,but i used to hang around thiruvanmiyur,,
i bought it from gemini...do u know paras yamaha service center.which is near gemini fly over...frm there u have to take left towards spencers....first u will find petrol bunk on ur left hand side... after few meters u will find helmet shops...u can go and get it from there,,,but u need to bargain as much as u can...
thy provide a huge collection of helmets...we can get motocross helmets also for 1100rs,,,
the main thing thing which bothered me frm not getting motocross was it doesn't have visor..
