we can buy R15 and complete riding gear in that price............ never knew helmets would be that costlyOriginally posted by tanay View PostSpeaking of helmets, feast your eyes on this one.
I don't own it, in fact, had I got that kind of $$, I would have a 250R or perhaps an old litre.

There's a shop in karol bagh by the name Choppra Helmets he's got them, and for Cross I would suggest the first shop on the right side of the main road. Just tell him that you need a cross helmet..he will then take you upstairs where they've got a showroom kind of a setupOriginally posted by deepu165 View PostGuys could u please suggest from where can i buy AGV or cross helmets in Delhi or noida.

1. Keep the visor slightly open from time to time.
2. Try not to exhale too much suddenly as that fogs up the visor.
3. Wear a balaclava which helps in filtering some part of the hot air you will be exhaling.
In my experience, my tinted visored helmet fared very poorly in extreme foggy conditions. I think clear lens is a better option.

If it gets foggy you let some air in so the visor remains clear. The AGV visors are good and you need to keep it very clean. All this would make it a little better for you to see when opposite lights flood your eyes. There is no actual 100% remedy to fight the glare.Originally posted by manan View Posthey guys

To see if the visor is doing its job well or not, try to see whether there is any difference if you life it up.
BTW, you would need a Breath Deflector to better the situation. If you wear spectacles, a Balalclava can worsen the situation by fogging the spectacle glasses.

search for Balalclava in this thread. You'll find a lot of info & even photos.
U can use collin or even better car windsheild cleaner along with a soft tissue paper. If the tissue paper is not very soft like most hotels use, it will scratch the visor. Collin is still a bit abbrasive and effects the antiscratch coating on teh visor in the long run. Well, most of us are using the same anyway.

Guys i need your help and opinion on this :
My WLT helmet's tinted visor has got scratched badly, thanks to me because i turned careless for a month because of my exams and the poor thing was kept here n there by my mom
Planning to get a new visor, tinted for sure and planning to get a silver visor now instead of the rainbow one i had.
What are my options and how much would it cost to get a new visor.
@ Delhi xBhpian's
Would i get the spare visor at Chopra's Karol bagh??

@manan.. AGVs have pretty good visors. Keep them clean. Before you leave house, wet the visor, soak any dirt/splattered bugs and then gently wipe with tissue or soft cloth. Also clean the inside of the visor. This will help avoid fog to some extent. Then like others said here, if its fogging too much while riding, flip it up a lil at times... keep the visor free of scratches... sometimes even a single scratch can cause "multiplication" of the glare...

Guys, went to Balaji helmets and checked out Cross and LS2.
Liked Cross better for some reason and was quoted 3.3K for a particular model in XL size. Comes with a skull cap and a bag to carry the lid.
the guy claimed it is CEE certified (europe).
Please help me choose between cross and LS2 and if these are worth buying.
What I need is a good helmet with a good certificate of safety and with removable liners. Also with XL the helmet moves a wee bit when i shake my head.
but it is a snug fit and is pretty tight while wearing and removing it. Is this the right size for me or should i go for L which is a size smaller (but not available with the dealer).
What is the correct certification for Cross? I dont trust the stickers and tag's on the helmet.
P.S. Checked the same brands in other shops and the price was higher by 500 bucks.ATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!
