Have to get a new lid soon as the one I was using was too big for me.

Tried out KBC at Orion Yamaha (Blore) and medium fit me fine.

I've also narrowed down my search to 2 models and found them on ebay which costs me roughly around 7.8k INR each including shipping.

Here are the pics of the helmets from KBC which I am interested in.

Does anyone know where I can get a better deal like motorcycle closeout's etc.?

P.S. Need to buy urgently as I am without a lid and till it arrives the Ninja has to chill at home.

Did you try the Sparx at Orion? They are lighter than KBC and will cost around 8000 INR

I did Sharath. I saw the Sparx helmet with the Che Guevara design and green color which would go with my bike. Unfortunately it had a ECE22.05 sticker on it (like a print on cello tape) and no embossment of DOT or Snell which I saw on Scorcher's lid.

Reluctantly striked this off the list. Also they only had L size while I need medium.

Which is better? KBC or Sparx? I will order one soon wherever I get a better deal, ebay.com or Orion. But i want one with Snell or DOT spec within 8k.

At Chopra's LS2 range starts from 3400 and above.
This particular dragon model is around 3400-3500 with clear visor

Don't know about mahalakshmi.

Just picked up a Sparx helmet from Orion Yamaha on my way back from work.

The model name is Hornet, comes with gloss finish and i picked up the medium size. Its a very nice and tight fit and should loosen up once the cheek pads break-in. Too early to comment on ventilation but i could feel the air sweeping into the lid from the eyebrow vents and from the front chin vent. Cost me around 8.5k. I got the lid with a clear visor although the pics are with tinted ones.

@aditya-- i was in the same boat as you as far as lids go and i too felt SparX provided a better VFM equation compared to KBC.

Fortunately or unfortunately i did not find the models in KBC that i was interested in... at least locally. Tried performance racing store, JC road, Orion etc. and only on eBay.com did i find them.

The KBC ones I liked worked out to around 7.5k with shipping on eBay (shipping alone was around 45 USD) and it would have taken 10 days to reach me.

But i read up some reviews which scored the Sparx way higher than the VR-2R models in KBC. But those KBC models looked hot.

VFM i agree. I searched for this model (Sparx Hornet) on eBay and it was available only on an International eBay site. (located in UK). Would cost me 9.5k with shipping.
