+1 , someone here recently bought it for Rs 3500 which was the general price everywhere

3100 is a very good price...in pune it retails for nthing less than 3600-3800

A* balaclava......it is soft and fits well.....but have to check how much sweat it will absorb...




salesman gave me cross' bag......but doesn't matters and it is better than what i got with studds....
















most of the padding is removable; i guess after sometime i have to add some padding on the top side as there is negligible padding in that area....may be to increase the air flow....

all-in-all i like this lid......will post if i face any probs with it.......

hi guys,
today I purchased a new helmet LS2 Cartoon FF350.5.
sticker at back states ECER22-05 (i guess it is EU standard), weight is 1550+/-50 gram, but it feels a lot heavier than my studds ninja-II.
visor says it is scratch resistant; while sales guy told it is anti-glare also, which is not true.
personally i didn't like the cartoon graphic, i don't know which cartoon character it is (its some human face), but had to buy as there was not much choice in my head size. but it will be ok as overall design is good.
I bought it from Helmet Paradise, opposite Urvashi theatre, bangalore, for 3100 INR ( don't know how much any of you have bought it, he showed me receipts of 3500 INR and told that MRP is 3800 INR, so I couldn't bargain much). In addition to it i also bought an additional chrome visor for 400 INR and an Alpinestar balaclava for 380 INR.

post your comments, how much did I paid extra over regular price on all items.

i don't like phobia (its graphics).......i was looking something in bright vibrant colors or pure white ( just for better visibility).......red or yellow would have been the best ones.....
but due to my budget and my size requirements i was stuck with 3-4 models only......there were better paint jobs in vega or studds or cross.....but not for me...

also nobody showed me phobia....may be out-of-stock on that day......


anyways there is lot of work to be done on this helmet as there is no sticker on it which will glow ....my studds ninja had 2-3 stripes which used to glow in other vehicle's headlights....
so may be I will put some glow-in-the-dark stickers on it......without destroying the basic graphics....

Do we have reviews for Beon helmets?

I have recently purchased one from Orion motors, Bangalore for my new Yamaha R15 (bike yet to be delivered). Although, the helmet looks good and the quality is decent, I am not an expert on brands and need some advise if it was the right choice. (There was no helmet to my liking in Cross / AGV. Other brands like KBC, SHARK and SPARX are way outta my league.)

well, i always carry my helmet in the helmet cover which comes with the helmet, it is enough to protect the helmet from scratches;
yeah it looks odd while you carry your helmet.....and more even if you carry it in that cover which is not carrying friendly.......but for me its always better to look eccentric then damaging my helmet........

by the way you can get a laptop bag with attached helmet net from cramster.......IMO it is the cheapest one you can get with decent quality.....

yeah, suddenly LS2 is more famous then KBC or sparx in India........but it has reason for this......
although it is a Chinese make......but 3 of its models have received 4 stars in SHARP test......which is great........but cartoon is not listed yet......i hope it will be of same quality......
i just pray that we are not buying some replicas....... personally i don't believe shop-owners in such things.......that's why i always bought vega or studds from authorised dealers only......where they showed me original and replicas for both the brands.........
but this time i was stuck.......couldn't get my head size in those brands.......
still the fit and finish of LS2 is far better then studds.......
rest is left for the crash.....=))

Helmet lock

i have my helmet lock on my FZ 16 fitted on the rear right side of the bike, this helmet lock can easily lock my vega F1 HP helmet as well as my STM helmet. now i recently bought a CROSS helmet it doesn't fit in my helmet lock because of its anti-fog which is there on my cross helmet. can any one suggest me broader helmet lock which can lock cross helmet with anti-fog along with the brand name.. and price..

I carry my helmet in a small terry lined bag (oval shaped) which I picked up for $20. It has a grip so that you can lug it around, but you can't use it as a backpack.
