My AGV(MPA) ! ! !

MPA has tied up with AGV to provide co branded MPA AGV helmets and these have been available in the market for quite a while. The quality is good and you get them in good designs as well. That said 2.5k is pretty steep as prices have come down to 2k if not less.

What a Coincidence...I was about to post my Helmet pics ! ! !



I bought it in chennai...Its really good...Not so heavy..so ur neck dont sprain after a long ride...good design options are also avialable...price 2.5k..but bargained it down to 2k...

Hi all, I need some help from the experts out there. I went to buy a helmet and being impulsive in nature i purchased one. it is a LS2 Piston Head. The guy who sold it said that it is a special edition helmet. I got it for 6000 bucks. now i want to know wheather it is really worth it or not. it has air vents, detachable cushions and feels good but still i would like to have an opinion. the shop keeper told me that if i don't like it i can come and get it replaced. should i get it replaced ?? if yes which one should i go for ???

6K . for LS2 piston head??? man you can get better Rjay helmets for that price. here in jaipur LS2 piston head is quoted at 3.8k (without bargaining).confront that guy and get your money back.

i am sorry i didn't understand by what meant by "direct lift off"
the price i found on the website of ls2 is 180 $ for piston head, but i am not sure.
btw- the price of helmet you have given on link is 9k

i mean its the completely same design.. ya 9 k . but you easily get 15%-20% off coupons of ebay . also in shops it would be lesser.
ive seen people buying ls2 piston head for 3.5-3.8. the shopkeeper has cheated afaik

The same pistonhead was bought by spiderweb(rohit) and was soon sold to my frnd here at tvm, He said it costed him abv 4k but 6k is bit too much. You could have bargained a little....anyhow, its one hell of a killer designer one and pls dont regret your decision coz of these comments...

Hd been to A.H Helmets last Sunday....was plannin to visit the shop since quite some time. Needed to buy a helmet for daily use. One thing I should mention out here is the shop is well stocked & the owner, Mr Hemant was really helpful & patient. I normally require a large sized helmet n could hardly get into most of the lids he showed within my budget . But still he was kind enuf to let me try out every possible option. Finally, I chose an MPA-AGV in solid black. He changed the padding so that it could fit ma head. He quoted around Rs. 2100 for the lid but once I mentioned my xBhp affiliation, he brought down the price to Rs. 1850 . Didn't have the heart to bargain further so I agreed upon the price...The fit n finish of the helmet are quite gud n its not too heavy as well. Weighs as much as my Vega Shadow.

P.S.- Hemant Bhai gave me a tip that in case any of us are intrestd in buying Knee guards, he is going to hold a SALE in the third week of Dec . Plus he is gonna get some new stock as well...

piston head is actually like 10k in orion motors bangalore if im not mistaken .. so 6k is fine according to me !!

and guys ..
i have been considering to buy an ls2 dragon for quite a while now .. just waitig for the green signal from dad

here are the pics of my mpa just for reference :


the reasons why i want dragon are :

1) size L of dragon fits me perfectly. Phobia and a few others are not comfy because i wear glasses .. I guess ppl manage but im not able to.

2) complete VFM .. I can get it for like 2.7k here in bangalore ..

3) looks nice .. It doesnt look all that great from the back but its got a traditional japanese dragon on the side which appeals to me ..

now im beginning to think of reasons why i dont want to get one ..

1) let me be honest .. It has become VERY common its only because the helmet is really good or it wont have become so popular but its too common..

2) i have a white and red mpa flash as of now .. the red and white dragon looks the best ( because i have a red 220 dtsi ) ... although the dragon looks nothing like my mpa , i want a different colour scheme ...

3) it has a dragon and not just random graphics .. Im bored of random patterns because of my existing mpa ..

4) the black and red dragon in matte finish looks second best according to me .. But my hands sweat like crazy .. genetic issue ... runs in the family so a matte finish will look terrible within one day of me handling it ( i just touched my friends matte black ls2 and it made him cry )

4) i kinda dont mind getting the black and red glossy dragon but then again , its not my favorite ..


So here is an absolutely confused but very particular chap ( note the confusion here as well ) who wants to go in for a good but affordable ( not more than 3k ) helmet ...
please help me out ..
Are there any other good helmets which i can get in that price range ?
I know about vega shadow but i dont like it much ..
Ive seen a few cross helmets but i end up comparing with ls2 and somehow ls2's quality seems better ( i guess im biased ... i know im probably absolutely wrong because there are quite a few cross owners who are pretty happy )
Ill mostly go in for the black and red glossy dragon but just in case .. is there anything that fits the following criteria ??

1) comfy for use with spectacles/shades
2) not above 3k ( can stretch to max 3.5k )
3) removable and machine washable interiors
4) some colour scheme that will suit my red 220
5) available in bangalore
