  • I was in a real hurry to buy a helmet.. I have a black 220 with some help from n_adi over phone i managed to get hold of a L size LS2 Moby, got it for 3.2k (is the price okay?) from balaji, blore. The only other good looking L size available was LS2 Dream.

Its not listed in their website as it is from 2010 catalogue, has a ECE sticker and written FF10384.6. The 2010 catalogue is here LS2 Helmets 2010 Catalogue

Page 16-17 has the Moby and 14-15 the other one Dream.

My head size was 58~59 cms, I went for the L as there was no Medium available to even try also.

The important question, Is this helmet color suiting a black 220? I am getting really conflicting answers so just wanted to see if it looks really out of contrast or good? I have a option to change it as its still unused. Any suggestions?

A few have claimed to get the LS2 helmet in bangalore for a decent 2.8k.

      • does anyone know where i can get a dark tinted visor for an LS2 FF310 ??

        i don't want a plain visor, i don't want a mercury visor.

i need a dark (black) visor.

i've tried at Funkys and the Helmet Shoppe at Vashi.

The paint on an industrial product such as a helmet is cured , so a brief exposure to Acetone will not damage the helmet graphic. Even a strong solvent such as a paint thinner will not damage cured painted surfaces such as bike paint. Of course, if you keep the painted part dipped in Acetone for a day, it will definitely be harmful.

But Acetone/paint thinners will strip away paints on a DIY job which is not cured.

@ Madhav : the plastic goes inside the helmet so using remover wont cause any issue as such ... !

            • Hi,
I went to a local helmet shop to get my Studds Visor changed but ended up getting Gliders helmet (ISI marked) and pro biker gloves. I have always used normal black helmets without any gloves etc, so this is my first time and it feels good driving with them on.

Help in what sense? If you mean safety, well they are OK i can say..as i dont drive very fast and it will give some protection from Delhi's chilly winds at night. If I could afford, I would have def. went for a better one but I wont say this is bad, and something is better thn nothing

may be he considers himself as a professional biker and calls his gloves 'pro-biker'

on a serious note...just check again with those gloves, they arent the ones you say...but shouldnt be a problem if they provide the basic protection...how much did you get them for ?? and the gliders MC1 ??
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

                          • @r1_in_my_blood : Those are look-alike of Probiker's so called new gloves.
But they don't seem the same that we have.
Plus I agree that its better to have something than nothing. But if you ever think of upgrading the gloves, go for a branded one (dsg,cramster...etc). Pro-Biker gloves are good 'only' for city riding

Well I am posting a closer screenshot of the glove, where it says pro-biker, wether its a look alike or not I dont know, because I have never seen any pro-biker gloves earlier, I never knew any glove's brand until I bought these gloves ( if pro-biker is a brand).

                              @nin --> Gloves costed me Rs 600 and MC1 helmet Rs 1000.

@SmokernDoper --> thanks for telling me another brand of gloves in your own way (DSG...)

@prateek2210 --> yes, next time I will be getting something better , like i said I ddnt knew any brands earlier..but now I know a bit about them..thanks

This site has shown these gloves....screenshot--
