shipping will easily cost 60-120 $ plus custom duties extra if applied .which helmet you planning for ?Originally posted by vaibhava View PostGuys, my sis is in the US. I was thinking of ordering a lid from bikebandit and get it delivered to her. I wanted to know what are the shipping charges like if she sends it to me from there. She lives in LA.
Would be really helpful if anyone of you can give me an idea of the approximate costs.
@karaoshi - my vote goes for the ninja 3g .

Around $60 for shipping and handling and almost similar or more for duty. I got myself a HJC and the amount I've quoted is based on that.Originally posted by vaibhava View PostGuys, my sis is in the US. On the other hand there are websites which deliver to your address in India directly. Why go via the long route of shipping within US and then India....?Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one. And most of them are full of shit.

it's a costly affair to get anything shipped over here--- additional hassles with customs
ebay proves to be a better option if they remove the price labels & declare it a gift
the ideal way is to ask someone to bring if at all you need to get benifit of the closeouts--else you get 50% off on closeout & you end up paying the same amount on shipping+duties

@Moderators: Can you please move this thread to 'Universal Threads' section, instead of 'Help Me!' section.
I wonder how it got here.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Can someone review this helmet for me. Also, im confused bout the size. I presently wear a Steelbird helmet medium size, i believe it says 58 at the back.
Can you guys point me towards the better closeout sales sites?Last edited by vaibhava; 02-17-2011, 08:59 PM.
