Guys i have shortlisted these 3 helmets as my next purchase. I like all of them but not sure about which one. Im inclined towards the Scorpion. Suggestions please??

I liked the scorpion followed by the AGV. Looks very classy. But since the bike is red/silver i would suggest AGV first and scorpion next. The graphics on the HJC look terrible IMO (not this particular one, but most HJC's have weird graphics).

Yes i agree with you on HJC this was the only one which even caught my attention. Their graphics are too much on your face. I felt the same wrt the AGV has a subtle classy red on it. In terms of safety they are great helmets arent they? Comparing the AGV and the Scorpion?

Hi guys,
Am buying a Kawasaki Ninja 250R very soon in may-june and in the process of getting a good helmet for me which matches a little to the bike. Shortlisted a few so tell me if they are worth.






The chrome black and chrome green are the Icon airframe helmets with carbon fiber shell for 360 $, would be getting one in green, looks really good but expensive.

The other one in green (with pink helmet) is Icon alliance speedmetal which is for 195 $ and sports the normal shell but is a good one.

Now which ones looks good and feels more VFM? Every buck counts right now as my riding gear budget with the airframe chrome has shot up to a whopping 900 $ 200 $ extra.

Is Icon that good a brand? I like the chrome and green one. My friend from US is comin next month, either he will bring it or am goin in April for rest of my cpl training so i would bring it.

Haven't seen the AGV, so won't be able to comment on that.

Icon is a very good brand and is one of the best too. I like the chrome one, at least in the pics. It might look too garish and tacky in the flesh though.

Go back a few pages and you'll see many options listed for helmets that will go with a green ninja.

IMO, the pink and green ones (in the pic) look very ugly.

P.S. Nolan helmets are also very good and have delicious graphics. Available at ridersdiscount. Should cost around 10k including shipping charges to India.

Well thanks Aditya, i saw some videos of it on youtube and in those it looked good, everyone said the finish is top notch.

The other green speedmetal is a bit overdone sadly, too much dragon , would browse the whole thread tonight and see the Nolsans too.

My initial choice was a K3 rossi replica Dreamtime but it felt as if a lot of "khichdi" is made on it. Might just get a Agv k3 celebrate 8 black model to match the black/green stripes joe rocket and A star smx 5 boots.

This is the Dreamtime - finish is top quality, have seen it in US myself.

Close your eyes and buy the Scorp. I just checked it out last week. It has one of the features which not many higher segments have and that is the inflating cheek pads option. Beautiful I say! Another colleague has a Scorp 1000 rpm and he swears by it. It is a very underrated brand and purely( well almost ) sells by the word of mouth of bikers themselves. How do I know? Because I checked it out in bike store in Switzerland and the owner is a seasoned Alpine biker himself.

And frankly, I thought Scorps are mostly simplistic in design but this one is a looker. So, a cherry you get for free
