@nads: I checked the price of this helmet in other shops also and they all quoted almost the same price (+/- Rs.50). I picked up a clear visor for Rs.200 that was over the price of the helmet.Originally posted by nads View Posthey guys atlast purchased 2helmets for myself just couldnt resist n overshot my budget quite a bit(infact 2 times
but couldnt resist
)......
Got the foll 2 helmets:
LS2 Phobia Black n Red with tinted Visor-------2900/-----(For those long rides)
CROSS Hunk (Compound Helmet) with tinted Visors------3100/- (for city commute since i wear glasses)
will post pics soon....
wanted to go for NUVO since the price is too gud n the graphics r awesome..... but the mumbai dealer of DSG doesn't keep stock of helmets n he could place one on order..... but it was risky to place an order before trying one which fits best for me..... hence went for these.... pretty happy... hehehehehe....
@prajwalkashyap i hav the same CROSS helmet, is the price of 3800/- including visor?????? n what visor u hav taken (tinted or clear)

Nice helmets. Scratching my head because most people wouldve gone in for one Sparx / KBC instead of two Cross / LS2s. Its like finding a pair of twins attractive, you dont want to date both girls at the same time. Or do youOriginally posted by nads View Postscratching ur head regarding the prices????? or how i had a sudden urge to splurge?????
??
Lol, thats what I wouldve done!Originally posted by n_aditya View PostLet me confuse you further
Get a SparX lid. Costs around the same. Hound and nag your friend so he/she carries it down with him/her.

i know neil but i m a bit skeptical to purchase a helmet without trying..... for LS2 the size which fits me is large but some other models of ls2 with L size i was unable to put my head inside the helmet itself..... i really liked the nuvo range but the same problem, the dsg mumbai dealer didnt had stock here in mumbai..... regarding sparx n other brands couldnt find any in any of the helmet stores here in mumbai except some imported stuff like AGV, HJC etc but they all r way above my range
n i dont hav my follks livin in states so that i can benefit from them

@Prajwal that means i got a gud deal@nads: I checked the price of this helmet in other shops also and they all quoted almost the same price (+/- Rs.50). I picked up a clear visor for Rs.200 that was over the price of the helmet.

this wouldnt be a review would do it at a later stage after using them both for a bit but as of now...... the LS2 helmet has better ventilation n noise isolation than the CROSS.....LS2 is lighter and a bit smaller than the CROSS.... otherwise both the helmets r super comfy..... its my personal opinion the CROSS ventilation is at par with the AGV-MPA helmets since i owned one.... but i dont break any sweat with the LS2 even in the mumbai scorching heat....

. I think you can buy cross clear visor for your Helmet...I had bought it for Rs 450/- from cochin. It comes with the side fitting accessories.
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

ThanksOriginally posted by neil.jericho View Post@ abhifusion - Nice helmet there. Good to see some change from the regular LS2, Cross, Sparx, KBC chain of helmets here in xbhp. Looking forward to a review of sorts on the helmet. Could you post pics of you wearing the helmet so we could get an idea as to how big it is.
Sizewise its similar to Daijya and Shell is different for each size ... Will give sort review on it as soon as possible ...
Yep , bought this one recently ... Fit is good, build quality feels better than Daijya ...Originally posted by nin View PostHas anyone bought and/or used any of the NUVO Helmets here ?

Just wanted to clarify this doubt , According to LS2 website (US) , LS2 and NUVO are sister brands ... Is this true ??

Which place are you looking at?? I mean in which city??Originally posted by arjunb25 View Postwhere can i get a good cross open face helmet... Oh by the way wanted to know which company is cross?? like ninja is of studs, ls2 is being sold with vega company... so which one is cross of? do right back soon thanks.
AFAIK the cross is operating independently right now.
Try LS2 or cross. You can look for it on Lalbagh road. It is filled with helmet shops. Try helmet paradise & do bargain hard for a decent price.Originally posted by TijoJoy View PostGuys, Need to buy a new LID.
