I have a SparX helmet. Fits well and has really good finish. Pretty silent when the eye brow vents are closed. Not too heavy also. DOT and ECE22.05 certified.

Check webbikeworld for reviews. SparX and KBC are from the same manufacturer.

If you're talking about the European company, AFAIK they have a good reputation - your question is however too vague.

Which model are you comparing with the AGV - K series?

Sorry abt tht.I dont remember the particular model name but it was priced along the K4 Series.I wont be able to Test Ride with the helmets,so would like to know which one is less noisy and more comfortable for touring.

The Vega off road helmet with the visor is useless, get one with goggles.

And my father is stupid, says why do I need such costly helmets, why can't I do with one around 200-300 rupees, he says helmets are only to avoid being caught by the police. When I argue about the protection of such helmets he says why would I need to ride such a way to meet with an accident, ride carefully and you'll never need a helmet.

Thats not the good way yaar. Don't use this kind of words for him He needs to get some awareness which you should have done instead of cursing him in public. And, "Horrer" described it nicely, as well, you can read "haxor's" signature and tell him the same I personally like that text

Easy way to educate your dad? Tell him to bang his head into a wall(think of it don't ask him,lol) It hurts? Now if you run you can almost make your skull bleed? What would happen while driving at 30-40kmph(which btw is slow)? You obviously need a good helmet.

There are three types of vega offroad helmets as far as i know w/o visor 1400rs.with retractable goggles visor 1700( i have one).with full visor not fully retractable price not known to me....

Hey friends,

Do you know some decent helmets within the range of 3000-4000 INR. All helmets within this range are too bulky and heavy as the lighter ones are like too plastic feeling ones. I had the cross 910 series and weighed too much thought it saved me from crash and did its duty at its best, currently the LS2 bought by pro biker also weighs heavy and restricts free movements as its like you always have a feel that something heavy is mounted.

Was guessing are there lighter helmets in this cost category and provide good amount of protection to the rider without compromising in quality.

hii guys...i am in pursuit of a good helmet...and checked LS2 near Urvashi theatres...to be precise paradise helmets shop....that guy was selling me LS2 for 2500-2900(the red eye graphics)....but...will it be genuine?? i did not buy as i read somewhere fakes are doing rounds....how to identify the original LS2s? that guy was giving me 2 yrs warranty as well ..

I doubt there are fake LS2's.AFAIK many ppl misunderstood the LS2's that were reduced to 2500RS to be fake.

Anyway...Warranty? what kind of warranty?

warranty covers all the manufacturing defects excluding paint issues and visor scratches...

I brought my LS2 pistonhead from there only. No issues till date. The shopkeeper is very polite & has also given me a warranty for 2 years.
