Guys called Auto Queen,Cochin last friday ,I was planning to buy LS2 Dragon and he quoted me 2500rs for the lid and 50 for shipping.Today i called him to know whether the stock had came or not,He told me that a new LS2 Dragon is coming next week and the price had increased to 3000rs.Also the new lid comes with a new graphics,Any one near from AQ??? I would like to get some pics of the helmet before buying..Please help me guys.

The price hike was expected. He (Sabu) said me the same while I was there 2 months back. So the picture is clear now. Lower price was with a particular lot/shipment/batch. Now thats over, new ones are arriving, with new designs, and prices back in position.

Guys my budget is around Rs 1500 and i am in search of a new helmet. I am thinking of going for the studds rhyno and i am planning to pick it up from karol bagh, delhi. I will be visiting Chopra helmets tomorrow to check the prices. Is there any other shop i should go and check ? If i have any more options then please let me know

Probably getting one LS2 by this weekend.

Ultimately found one Matt Black with Transparent Visor LS2 Phobia for Rs 3000/-
Also spotted one White Black Gloss with Transparent Visor LS2 FF for Rs 5000/-

Willing to buy the LS2 Phobia for Rs 3000/-, since my budget & colour suits that.

Please share your inputs.

Probably my preferred LS2 FF 350 Black with Transparent Visor in Large Size has landed from Bangalore.

The said Helmet Shop got it for me. Expected Price is Rs 3000/-
Most likely I will pick up tomorrow. Please let me know soon.

Will be difficult to return once I take this since almost every time THE SHOP has changed my Helmet.
This time as a favor he got it thru some acquaintance coming from BANGALORE only for me by Flight.

How much did you get your Espirit for..? From the pics, its same as BigOne (which I use), just a different paint scheme.

Got it for 2700 with smoked visor and helmet bag plus balaclava and cap

Yes the espirit , blade and big one are all the same shell and design - ff384

thats the same shell and design as phobia - ff350.
Its different form the other ls2 dragon and hence more expensive ..

Are you talking about DOT certified LS2 or DOT model in LS2? Few days back when i went to buy my Espirit, i could see only the very old dragon models had DOT certifications...the new models are all ECE certified...to know more about certifications, check earlier posts.

Espirit (FF384) - was 2,700 INR/- and Phobia (FF350) was around 2500/-

Got this LS2 Black Dragon for 1800 rs at Sri Padam helmets G P Road. He first quoted 2500rs, haggled it to Rs 1800. If you guys are looking for LS2, this is an excellent price.

Once you take it home,he wont even acknowledge that he knows you.
Moreover I dont think he is doing any favour to you,he's a businessman,he means business,thats all I have seen here.
Check it out at the Helmet store itself,if it doesnt fits,then walk(run) away from it asap!

helmets scene in indian market

I have been doing too much of R&D for my helmet industry in india and i have found out so many facts.
1) ISI standard is not the best in the world
2) Indian Automobile market is filled with cheap helmet's beteen 100 to 300 rs.
3) Many indian helmet manufactureers are the one manufacturing for makers like KIWI, AGV, Yamaha Italy, & many more.
4) Maximum helmets which are sold in indian market specially imported ones are 90% fake only 10 % of these helmets are origional.
5) indian helmet manufacurers are meeting the standtrds of snell DOt and Euro standards.
6) Reason we do not get good helmets are the most sold helmets are cheaper one as we have the biggest commuter segment in the world.
7) The manufacturers have tried by launching very good helmets in india but have failed E.g Studds Scorpion INR 4500. Steelbird Gpone won the best product of the year award.
8) Indian politicos are paid by these manufacturers who are manufacturing low profile or cheaper helmets to not implement the ISI helmet wearing necessary, which as per motor vehicle act is mandatory but every state can decide whether to implement or not.
9) We all want good jazzier helmets but jazzier looks will not save your skull at the time of crash it will hook your head in trouble not only your people you rae close to also.
10) Studds, Steelbird are bringing tmany good helmets coming in indian market within this year.
11) If you need good helmet's for your self reply on my post tell me your desired speed and will suggest you which helmet you should take.
