On extended runs i really feel my neck getting stiff with it. An instant reaction by people who've carried my helmet is "this thing's heavy" and that really got me thinking after a while, which though is funny coz Daijya say the shell has Carbon fibre elements to keep the weight down?

Anyone else find the Daijya heavy?
yes it is heavy, but yeah since i have a large head so the helmet is very snug so i dont exactly feel the weight even after a long ride, only demerit is i always carry it around and the weight does bother somewhat cant even think of leaving it attached with the bike chori ho gaya toh khudkhushi kar loonga

i dont think it has any carbonfibre elements in it... i had completely opened up the padding of my helmet and saw the hard foam underneath the padding while washing the helmet.. no signs of carbon fibre patches or any other forms of it. plus to make significant weight reduction there has to be loads of carbon fibre used replacing the fibreglass part. and carbon fibre isnt cheap at all..

              • i was comparing two websites selling KBC helmets
                Street Bike : Helmets-Full Face - RidersDiscount.com

                and

Street Bike Helmets Men's Riding Gear Page Listing #3 - Motorcycle Superstore

and found that latter one is much more cheaper than the former one

Watch it bro, I'd be a bit more careful ordering stuff on closeout, from a website thats not newenough or denniskirky!

Ordered a KBC from something called ridegear.com and they didn't deduct the money from my account, neither did they tell me that they were outta stock until after my uncle had left the US! It's not as bad as getting ripped off, but the time taken, when it boils down to nothing, you're nothing but an irriated bloke with no lid.

                  • Does anyone know where I could get the complete inner lining for AGV pacific helmet in Bangalore and how much it would cost me? Or can someone help me get me one from any other city if its available?

                    Thanks!

                            Breathe less

Ok OK coming to the point - it happens to me also - but im using a Black Visor - so no probs for me in this case.........
I used to tie up a Handkerchief on below my eyes - during these conditions

But might be there are some vipers available to avoid fogging - donno about that

Well that is basically due to the fact that AGV's dont have that fog preventors(dunno its exact name ) It is located just in front of the nose...!! You wud understand better with the pics attached below...
