AFAIK, they both don't come with removable liners. And buddy, if you are somewhere humid, the extra money for a lid with a removable inner lining will definitely pay off in the longer run.Originally posted by akmaintu View Post

Thinking of getting a new helmet as my bro is coming from UK in 2months...Please suggest a good helmet which can be bought at a cheaper price than available here/or which is good but not available here.
something which will come under rs.6K.
preferably removable inner liner and scratch resistant visor, with no (/less) wind noise or fog problems.
cheers.

Someone had posted a list of UK based websites earlier on this thread. Use the Search function to locate it. If you are getting a helmet that isnt available here be sure to buy extra visors. Brands like RJays, KBC, Sparx are available in India so getting visors for them wont be a problem.Originally posted by Aniket_N View PostThinking of getting a new helmet as my bro is coming from UK in 2months...Please suggest a good helmet which can be bought at a cheaper price than available here/or which is good but not available here.

I recommend you get the helmet yourself as you have to ensure a proper fit, unless you can do an perfect size match with the same models.Originally posted by Aniket_N View PostThinking of getting a new helmet as my bro is coming from UK in 2months...Please suggest a good helmet which can be bought at a cheaper price than available here/or which is good but not available here.

Try google. Vega helmets are available everywhere. why do you want to take a risk on sizing by ordering online !Originally posted by akmaintu View PostRide Safe :)

Aniket, you will not get a helmet from the UK under Rs 6000. This is roughly about 85 pounds and helmets start from a minimum of 200, perhaps with inflation the minimum would have moved to 250 .
All helmets sold in the UK have all the legal compliance regards safety and there the safety factor gets precedence over cost.
I have shopped for helmets in London and at first was stunned at their cost but, once you put the helmet on your head , the feeling of security is very comforting.
If you want a good helmet( that is not too fancy) , be prepared to shell out the equivalent of about 300 odd pounds.
Secondly, be very careful regards the fit. A Shoei 60 is not the same as a BMW 60 or a Schubert 60. Even the same make has different fits - the BMW enduro helmet fits and feels different to their street bike helmets.

hi all
facing a fogging issue in my LS2 Phobia helmet, i have to stop the bike and clean the helmet most of the time which is irritating when you are especially riding on highway.
Does anyone has any solution ? how can i get rid of this problemReplace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.
