I saw AGV helmets in a shop in pune and are available for 5000 INR. Wondering are they genuine or is it like stamped of AGV, though the material, cushion was quiet good and the AGV standard of big and huge jaw was there.

I am looking for a flip-off type helmet with an internal visor just like Vega Booleaan but a little lighter. Am using Boolean and feels heavy, also the noise is loud at speeds in excess of 80km/hr.

Dadaaaa, There is an option in Studds and LS2 both. LS2 would be little on the heavier side

@Piyush : As mentioned HJC is better than LS2 although I am using the latter one. As per the fit make sure its tight near the jaw area.

@Shrinathrao : "May be" those are MPA AGV (Indian Manufactured).

No Problem.

You should find some good deals in Dec-Feb since it is winter and so not much sales. The problem with deals are the availability of sizes you may want, they start disappearing as soon as a deal starts , so I would keep checking the websites for deals frequently.

These should be the second round of Indian made AGVs that were in the pipeline for quite some time now. Ive heard they are supposed to be a notch up from the older MPA AGVs.

quite surprising.
People please advise.
I saw an HJC helmet in orion and they quoted 7K and were ready to give 5% discount. While on the other hand when i visited the Helmet paradise (in front of Urvashi theatre, lalbag) they said that they can get me HJC helmet for 6K. They had LS2's as well and i liked the defogger of one i tried but some how the quilt quality of HJC felt better. I felt that HJC are a little bigger and so have a little extra space to absorb the impact.

In lalbagh area what is the percentage of bargain in their quoted prices?

LS2 Dragon will cost you somewhere around 2800-3200 depending on the city...

you can also get the same from Auto Queen, Cochin. the guy will send the helmet through courier. Mr. Sabu THomas 09847373966.

There are replicas in the market as well....

and I dont think you will be able to get an LS2 in Jaipur...

Though Studds Ninja is lighter than Vega, it doesnot has internal visor which acts like a sunglasses in sunny days for me(chashmish). Anything other option with internal visor is fine enough. I guess Auto-Queen makes such helmets ?????
