  • Yes it is very similar..although I was looking for LS2 Phobia.and.that surely looked beautiful but I liked this little better,,He had shown me another LS2 dnt know its name..red/black..it had an air pump in it to increase/decrease the inner size of the helmet by filling the air in the paddings~4.5K.
But I am pretty much happy with this Targa one.

    • I guess it was this.. Another Delhi xbhpian has this air pump LS2. LS2 are getting quite famous now-a-days. No doubt Targa looks great too

Got my new LS2 - Targa Edition today from karol bagh, delhi.Price was 3.5k but after some barg*, got it for 3K with winter gloves 1.2K.[and will get the clear visor on monday].
            Very Comfortable and very stable.
That's expensive. I got the exact same model out here in B'lore for 2.5K, plus a spare clear visor for 425 rupees.

Yes in B'lore rates are quite low..but here I couldnt find it below 3K..

Visor is costing me extra 400 Bucks. You have got the standard LS2 clear visor[idk if it comes] or some other brand?
And a noob question : how should I interchange the visors...and..its strap is kind of confusing to me right now.

Well, at least you're getting the visor cheaper. Mine is the LS2 branded visor itself.

For changing it you need to open the visor to the highest point. You will then see a spring loaded locking mechanism near the pivot point of the visor. You have to release it, at the same time prying out the visor from its pivots from where it curves to the front. Don't do it from the rear edge of the visor. You need to use force to pry out the visor. You don't need to be timid, the visor can take quite a bit of force without breaking.

Yes, the strap is kind of confusing. You have to thread the strap like you do the straps of a backpack and snap the snap into place. The new stocks come with more user-friendly straps though.

I'm pretty sure the Targa Edition and Dragon visors are interchangeable, not sure about the Phobia. But the F385 has a much better user-friendly locking system for the visor, though, not to mention more expensive.

                              • I've been using AGV - FVS(MPA India) for more than a year and it is decent for 2k and it is still good as I use it everyday. However I've been planning to upgrade my helmet and search was on. I keep visiting helmet store around the city for sometime checking out LS2, Cross, Studds Vega as and when happen to hear new models. Nothing captured my heart. I've been hearing LS2 being sold right from 2k-5k, more or less the same shell with different color schemes. Wonder why LS2 has so much of difference across India, is dealer getting those for dirt cheap? Questioned to myself, what if they are fake ones? Cross helmets are ok, but did not appeal.

While I was on lookout for some good quality helmet came across SOL brand helmets originating from Taiwan. The color schemes, design, air vents and quality material used is very good. The finish, paint job, foam padding work speak for the quality. Important factor is the air ventilation when it comes to long distance rides, which not many helmets n the Indian market offer or rather it is still not enough.SOL brand helmets offer good ventilation, the inlet and outlet vents acts very good and helps good air circulation thus keeps your head sweat free. I bought SOL Acme Red six months back and have taken it to couple of road trips. Felt the snug fit the best hence did not feel and wobble during cross winds. The Polycarbonate visor lens is clear and there is no wave formation from end to end. It comes with LED lights at the rear for signalling, would think it is for emergency situation on the highway incase of electrical failure. Don't ask me more.

                                I've two helmets now:-
SOL - ACME Red - six months back.
SOL - Unicorn Red - Yesterday.

So far my views from usage:-
                                Pros:-
                                1. Good design
                                2. Good graphics and color schemes
                                3. Good ventilation/air circulation
                                4. Removable washing cheek pads and inner pads
                                5. Easy installation of visor
                                6. D-clip to secure around the chin
                                7. DOT certified

                                Cons:-
Haven't crashed till now (touch wood), so would not be able to comment from impact point of view. Attractive so chances of getting stolen is high. (almost lost SOL-ACME).

SOL ACME has inbuilt sun visor and it is a premium line which is plush inside and design is awesome.

SOL Unicorn II is funky, stylish, colorful and design is futuristic!

I'm no helmet expert, but have expressed what I experienced.
