I didn't ask them about Yamaha apparels, realdice. No idea about it. You can give them a ring...
FOLLOW UP: I gave them a call. As a new customer. I had asked them about availability and price. They said it costs 5.5K but no extra visor. Just the transparent one. When did you buy the helmet, bro?DoN\'t LivE tO DiE, dIe tO LiVe

Orion sells at premuim costs....... it comes with a (default)tinted or clear visor @ the same cost..... extra visor costs 450rs for tinted and 350rs for normal (all costs at pune ok... no idea abt b'lore....btw I got my xtra visor from mumbai... at 550rs(iridium tinted))
@Pranay: Good choice.... looks super cool...Chetan

i guess i must be the 1st guy intent on breaking the Daijya trend... After a year with the Daijya which did save my head on 1 particular and so far my only serious shunt.. i can no longer live with the weight of the helmet. It's just too heavy for city riding IMO and while it might be a personal choice.. i really think its the most significant -ve of this helmet for me.
Anyone wanna recommend a good alternative?

Hmm.... you can go for Sparx Helmets (available at performance racing store, Tardeo)..... the quality levels are amazing.... better than Daijya.... costs are higher though... and they are pretty light weight....Originally posted by Absoluthavoc View Posti guess i must be the 1st guy intent on breaking the Daijya trend... hey pranay that's the lid which i liked when i had gone get my daijya at orion. unfortunately, this lid was only M size which they had in stock, so i got myself the silver matt tiger (large size). is yours the medium size ?Originally posted by pranay View PostI was slowly riding down to office, when I passed Orion motors. So ...Thought of checking their showroom, and check out some riding gear. Went in, saw a spanking Daijya staring at me....now, at this point, I was telling myself, no way, Pranay, you just spent on a helmet 3 weeks back and who in the right mind would buy two helmets in a month?
....
....
....
....
5 minutes later I walked out with this....
P.S:- I'm broke for the rest of this month

DUDE ! 5.5k is high (by rs500 that is) , they quoted me 4808 with some vat (say nearly 4900 something), and no i didnt not get any tinted visor alongwith it. ordered a black visor from Planet dsg, PM me if you want to know the details
Cheers

And I asked them today ( I went today as well
) about the pricing. They said the prices for all helmets has been increased by 500. I had double checked by calling them yesterday. I had called from the office saying I was interested in buying Daijya. I asked them the price and still quoted 5.5K. I said it was 4.5K before as I heard from a friend. They said the prices had increased recently. I don't know how far is it true, but a couple of other members here had also bought there Daijya helmets at 5.5K

ah that seems okay,
btw do preserve the sticker which comes on the helmet visor
put it back on the visor so that it doesnt get scratched when its not in use , realised it the hard way
you can order a black visor(rs 500) (after you come out of the broke period
) would look great with the silver base
OT
p.s coming to bangalore tomorrow morning and will be at jasir's place till monday morning, when will you be free ?A man's testosterone level is directly proportional to bhp that he's using on his motorcycle.
